Reebok Men's Rb3445 Trailgrip Tactical Construction Boot Black Work & Safety

I've been using Reebok work boot for years now (different model) and I decided to give the RB3445 a try. First off, there is NO breaking in period on these boots. They are comfortable from day one. The waterproof membrane keeps your feet dry as long as you're not swimming with them, the pattern of the outer sole is amazing for rough terrain: Sand, Mud, Gravel, Dirt, etc. They are also comfortable to wear on flat surfaces. It's definitely an all day boot. With most boots you get home and can't wait to take them off. Not these.... Most days I don't even realize that I'm still wearing them even hours after I get off work. The leather outer is very durable and the zipper and Velcro strap make it so it's easy to take off and put on. One last thing that's impressive, the laces seem indestructible no matter how hard you pull on them or what rough terrain you trek through. If you're on the fence, buy them. You won't regret the purchase. Especially because most of the time they go on sale.

Light comfy but way too warm for the SW Desert. But love the boot.

I'm supposed to be able to use the zipper to take the boots on and off. Well you did not allow enough room. I cannot remove the boots using the zipper!!!!!???

2nd pair of Reebok boots. The zipper on the side is there to make them easy on - easy off. But this model has a flap of material sewn on each side of the zipped section. That material prevents the two sides from opening more than about 2 inches. My other pair (different model) has no material connecting the two sides, allowing easy on-easy off without unlacing them because you can open the two sides all the way. The material that I am describing defeats the idea of having a zipper. I'd have had to untie them all the time. I ordered the correct shoe size - but these were narrow instead of medium width, which may have played a part. I returned them for a different model of Reebok boots due to the zipper design fail and being too narrow. Perhaps the material has something to do with waterproofing. No matter for me though - I want the zipper for easy on/off.
