Perfect. Yes, this fits the Canon EF-M 55-200mm IS Lens well. It can be mounted frontwards and backwards for storing. Built well, and twists on easy once you have it aligned. Even better, it has a red dot under the JJC logo which helps to line up the hood's grooves and put it on properly.I'm not sure how this is compared to the original Canon hood, but it fits fine and does the job. Recommended!

This hood is well made of what appears to be polycarbonate with a nice flat black finish. It fits well and is reversible to keep the kit compact when not in use.

Installed on my M50 lens. Does the job and much less expensive that the Canon version.

The Canon version of this is so overpriced, this one by JJC does exactly what I want it to do, protect the lens and prevent harsh light angles and it cost about one third the cost of the Canon one. Solid polycarbonate construction, quarter turn screw on and it fits perfectly.

Product arrived promptly and packaged securely. Initially, the lens hood was tight but the fit got better after removing and reinstalling the lens hood a few times.
