Hydrating and luxurious
The packaging is absolutely beautiful and the products are luxurious. The serum, vitamin C and tool work well together and my skin felt more hydrated and smooth.

Surprisingly moisturizing
I don’t have very troublesome skin, but it IS very dry. Around this time of year (live in the Midwest), my skin freaks out a bit due to temp changes. I’ve noticed way less dryness and flaking. I almost think I could get away with not using my normal serum on top. There’s not really a scent, which is nice given all the things already smelling up my face. ;) I’m hoping to see anti-aging benefits with continued use. I’ve only had it a couple weeks.

Luxury for a reason
I have been writing extensive reviews for the skincare products, and I am always - literally always very critical for the expensive skincare products. Of course, we pay money to buy beauty, so if something is far more expensive than the other product, then there should be something special about it. The Clinical + Skin is probably the first luxury product that get 5 star from me above $100. I am Korean, so cost performance is a golden rule to choose skincare product and I really like it. So let me tell you why. Ingredients: Just like many other skincare products, it used water along with many other common solvents, but this one contains assumably higher concentration of peptide - acetyl hexa-8 (aka Botox peptide), Bis Tripeptide-1 copper acetate - which is known regenerative / collagen boosting peptide. It also added many different types of ceramides and other skin identical molecules (cholesterol, phytosphingosine) along with HA and ascorbic acid. Of course, we cannot fully justify the hefty price tag of this product for these ingredients, but practically they added great amount of the helpful and expensive ingredient in the product. It used sodium benzoate as preservative, which is common one in the organic products. Unlike many other luxury brand, this serum doesn't contain any bullshit ingredients - which are generally used only for the texture. Ironically, it's really difficult to find a product with clean ingredient in luxury beauty, but this one is clean. Lovely. Texture: It has light and hydrating texture, and absorbs really quick on the skin. It's light but hydrating, and it's not thick or sticky so you can easily use under the makeup as well. In terms of texture, it's great. Effectiveness: I actually did not believe peptide based active ingredients. I have used loads of products containing peptides (you can check them from all my reviews) but it didn't really do much on my skin. But this one actually made my skin a lot firmer and radiant after 3~4 weeks, and I really do love this rosy glow. Fine lines are a lot less visible of course. Then again, it's quite expensive but at least, it brings the promised result. Packaging: This is really where it shines. It comes with giftable white box with black ribbon, and it is very giftable to anyone you care for. It also comes with the facial massager, mini-sized vitamin C serum and a pouch that can hold some products. Excellent. Final Thought: Again, I never thought I could give full 5 stars for this expensive product. But literally, it gives you the amazing result and the "feeling" of the luxury from the exquisite packaging. So if you can feel the 2% difference from 10X price, then probably this is a product for you. If not, there are other products in Amazon with much cheaper price tag as well. But once in a while, a little luxury gives you or others a pleasant surprise. Definitely but cautiously recommended!!

Quick Plumping & Smoothing, Skin Looks Good, May Address Primary Concerns But Need Time To Assess
This Clinical+ Skin Polypeptide Firming Serum (pack of 2) makes a highly giftable impression. My skin is dry, sensitive and mature (55+) and this agrees with my skin well, though it doesn’t feel as hydrating as expected. I do like that this lacks parfum/fragrance and fragrant essential oils as they can aggravate my skin. I’ve been using this serum 1x-2x a day for about 10 days, and it hasn’t made by sensitive skin irritated or caused any discomfort. Directions say to use one droplet, but I use a generous amount for my face, neck and décolleté. This serum has a weightless feel, isn’t oily or sticky, absorbs quickly and leaves no residue. It has hyaluronic acid (HA) that quickly and temporarily plumps my skin and minimizes the appearance of my fine lines. In that way, this serum is hydrating and my skin gets a softer, smoother and somewhat firmer appearance from the outset. I do normally use other serums that hydrate my skin and make it look radiant and feel this one is best paired with a rich face cream. I do feel my skin has looked good overall since using this serum. This serum doesn’t dry or irritate my skin, but my initial reaction was that it feels like it contains some drying alcohol. In checking, I was surprised it doesn’t have alcohol. It does have “acetic acid” found in vinegar and it can dry or irritate skin. I don’t know the % here and it may not be enough for others to notice, but I feel it’s probably why this serum doesn’t feel as hydrating and comforting as I’d expect from the ingredient profile. Or it may just be that I’m used to more hydrating serums as I do seek them out. This serum has a lot for hydrating and/or replenishing the skin barrier, such as ceramides, peptides, cholesterol, glycerin, HA, plankton, zinc PCA and more. Also, peptides can improve the look of wrinkles and make skin look firmer, though Paula’s Choice says a lack of evidence exists to show peptides stop sagging, match the results of cosmetic procedures, etc. This has Vitamin C and Ergothioneine for skin tone and dark spots and other anti aging antioxidants. I would like to know the % of ascorbic acid to see how it compares to ascorbic acid serums I’ve used a long time. This appears to be a high quality serum with peptides and many other ingredients with potential to improve my main skin concerns, such uneven skin tone, hydration, firming and wrinkles. While some benefits are immediate, I do feel it will take many weeks or months to fully assess many benefits such as firming. I will definitely continue use and like it so far, so I’m rating it 4 stars. I’ll update my review and rating as appropriate if I notice further firming and other benefits (and the system allows changes). Made in the USA.

Stunning Set
With this price range I know this won’t disappoint, and when I receive this it stunned me. There are plenty of expensive skin care product and this one truly made a stunning impression. The unboxing experience is like conducting a ceremony. There are two full size 50ml serums, a tiny sample of another product, and a heavy weight facial roller. We shouldn’t judge a book from its cover so I kept my curiosity and unbiased opinions as I tried it. I don’t have too many wrinkles yet but I do have lines. Applying the gel on those lines, I can feel that a pea sized drop can spread out and cover quite a large surface, meaning I don’t need to apply too much to cover my whole face. At this point I’m only using this on targeted area that has fine lines, so this bottle will last a long time. Right after use I can feel coolness and tiny bit of sting over that area, but couple of minutes later that sting diminished. Half an hour later as I touch my face where it was applied it doesn’t feel sticky. It seems that it was well absorbed. So far it works very well on me. It is unscented, feels breathable on my face. I’m going to use it twice a day on the targeted area. So far the experience is quite impeccable. As for the value, I would say that it’s worth it. I’ve had $50 serums that I need 2 to 3 pulps to cover my face and lasted barely two weeks, those were not cheap either. This one at least I feel like a ritual.

Nice Package but is it Worth the Price?
This polypeptide-firming serum arrived on the 5th of October. I always do two days of patch tests. On the first day, I apply some on my arm and if I have no ill effects on the second day, I apply some on my face. Both days after the patch tests were fine so I proceeded to start using this serum and have been using it now twice a day for 23 days. I will say that my skin absorbs much more than the recommended amount (a droplet). I find that's not nearly enough for my skin and I need to use three drops. The package presentation was beautiful. I was really surprised when this big box arrived, and it certainly would make a nice gift for someone. In addition, there was a face roller which I didn't expect, and it says it “helps reduce the appearance of facial puffiness, helps firm and tighten the look of skin over time, and helps relieve tension”, a nice bonus with this serum. Also, on the box, it states that this product was a 2022 new beauty award winner for best firming serum. I did look this award up because I wasn't familiar with it. It does exist but it doesn't provide any kind of information on how or who made these designations. Again, it states that 35 subjects showed visible results in as little as four weeks. Is that a large sample group? Honestly, it seems rather small to me, but I just don't know. I'm less than a week shy of four weeks myself and while my skin certainly absorbs the serum quickly, I can't say that I've seen any results. To be perfectly frank I think any product that can show results in four weeks would be a bit of a miracle worker. Do I like the product? Yes, I have nothing negative to say about it. Do I think it's worth the price? Debatable. If it's true, that there are visible results in as little as four weeks unless something changes radically in the next few days, I'm not going to be one of those test subjects. Would it be a nice gift for someone? Absolutely but really, it's what's inside that counts and it's too early for me to say if this product is really making any kind of a difference to my skin. I'm torn on how to rate this. I haven't had any negative effects but honestly, I haven't had any positives either. I’m going to go with a 3 but will update if it turns out to work better than I have seen so far.

A very nice serum
I read through some of the reviews and it seems others bought this as part of a set. I only got the serum (with a sell price of $250) - but even if it had come with the other things, it would still have been an expensive set, and my expectations for this item were appropriately high. I have to agree that the packaging is lovely. Gift-worthy for sure. But honestly, I don't love knowing that several dollars of my cost were spent on packaging. It's unnecessary. Moving on... I have combination (middle age) skin, and it can be break-out prone with some products. After using this for about two weeks now, I'm happy to report that I've had no breakout or irritation problems at all. I find it a bonus that it's unscented; fragrance can be an irritant AND it often gives me headaches, so not an issue with this product. It goes on easily, smoothly, and absorbs quickly. No trouble at all applying a moisturizer and then makeup over it. They suggest 7-10 drops. Maybe you need that much if you're doing your neck, too, but I'm mostly focused on my face alone and need only about 5 drops - so while it's expensive, it will last awhile. The most important thing: does it work? Well, so far, so good. I do think my tone and texture are a bit better. I don't really have wrinkles, but I do have fine lines largely caused by loss of skin elasticity. If this can tighten/firm up my skin even just a little then the fine lines will be (mostly) gone - so, fingers crossed! But so far, I've not seen any plumping or firming. Will come back and update in a couple weeks if I see improvement. Otherwise, I think it's a nice serum. Just a bit on the pricey side.

excellent serum, splurge on this if you can!
This serum is wonderful. I am almost at the end of the bottle and from the months of using this, I am very happy, and my skin is happy! I do have to add first that I am using this mainly as a prevention and not damage reversal, so I'm not able to speak on whether or not it works great for mature skin or deep set wrinkles. I just like the way this serum feels on my skin, doesn't feel sticky or tacky after use. It gets absorbed by my skin nicely without feeling heavy, uncomfortable feeling, or piling. I found this to be moisturizing, my skin feels moisturized and plump. This seems to be more of a cosmeceutical beauty product so this isn't going to be one of those skincare products with super gentle, only natural ingredients - this is more chemical based, and that's what is going to work better for wrinkles. This gift set also comes with a face roller, which I use at least 3x a week. This one is big and durable, I feel like it does a better job than the small rose quartz or jade rollers. Sometimes I'll leave the roller in the fridge for an icy cold facial rolling experience. I also have to say this set was so beautifully wrapped, very classy, you can tell it is an expensive gift. I got it for myself but it still felt like such a nice experience opening this up. This is a great product and if you can splurge, I say give this serum a try. The other stuff included in the box are just extras, but they are useful extras.
