I have eaten (and keep in stock in my pantry) the plain Shirataki noodles. They are an easy to prepare meal and really don't have much body or taste like anything. These oat noodles have a lot more body to them when you're eating them. If you have not yet tried the shirataki noodles before, then you can start with these versus the plain ones. It's hard to say if these have any actual taste either, but they SEEM to.These noodles overall are easy to store and eat. I eat them all the time. Now that I've found the oat ones, I don't think I'll go back to the plain ones!I have made these with tomato sauce, added them to soups such as tomato basil, french onion soup, and many other kinds of soup. They turn a simple soup into a meal. A light sprinkling of cheese and croutons makes a complete meal out of a can of soup and a pack of these noodles.
