I don't know why everyone isn't talking about this.
I personally think that TKL is stupid. You don't have to be an accountant to find value in a numpad. This keyboard gives you a condensed layout without sacrificing any functionality. Also comes with a magnetic wrist pad and adjustable legs that give you 3 different angles, which is super useful. It has all the buttons you would need on a daily basis and the ones you don't, it has several different ways of accessing them on the keyboard. Mute button and volume wheel is useable (but a knob would have been nicer but would have made the keyboard bigger and look out of place).Hot-swappable key switches for the people who demand customization. I think its smart from a serviceability standpoint. Comes with 5 extra switches just for that reason. Switches and stabilizers feel great from a noobs standpoint. No rattles or pings. The brown switches are nice sounding although, I wish they were a little bit more "tactile" feeling.Shine-through keycaps are well constructed and very visible with the backlight. Speaking of backlight, it only has one color option (light blue) which is great! I am so sick of the RGB gamer vomit that consumes everything anymore. It has all the different modes you would expect for the lights, but aren't really necessary because of the lack of full RGB.It has 2.4ghz dongle for those who want low latency wireless. Can pair Bluetooth for up to 3 different devices that can be cycled though on the keyboard. When connected via USB C for wired/charging, there are 2 USB a ports that can be used for mice and other USB 2.0 devices which is convenient.Battery life is decent and lasts a while. It can be checked with a keyboard shortcut that visually shows how much life is left. Again, very handy.Overall, it costs as much as a decent Logitech or your typical entry-level mechanical keyboard and it delivers WAY more than either one of those options do. If RGB isn't your thing and you want something solid and custom, this is for you.

Very satisfied at this price point.
The media could not be loaded. Looks nice, great layout with numpad, and pretty dang good stabilizers. I replaced a good portion of the stock keycaps to get a more custom look. The original caps are a bit on the thin side and are probably the weakest aspect of the keyboard, however, they should be fine for most users. Removing and replacing switches was easy too, but I am quite satisfied with the browns mine came with. Having the freedom to use any switch in the future is amazing at this price point.I was using a Blackwidow v2 TKl, and I can honestly say the switches feel better on this one. I had the razer orange switches which are brown equivalents. This keyboard is better, especially since it's wireless. Blackwidow often gets switxh double presses and it's a damn shame you cannot simply replace a switch and be good to go.Wireless 2.4 has low latency, feels the same as wired (to me) when gaming or typing. The mode switch buttons on the back are a little cheap, but it's to be expected that some things might not be top notch on a keyboard with such a rich feature set. They are out of sight so it's no issue. Still testing battery life with lower level backlight. The included wrist wrest is nice, but to me, it feels too short so I just reused my razer wrist wrest since this keyboard is just a tad longer than a standard tkl keyboard. Still a nice feature to include, but it might not work for those who are really dependent on a robust wrist wrest. While not perfect, this keyboard hits the mark on too many features for me to ding a star for the couple of areas where it falls a bit short. Also lacking RGB, but I know the rgb version is coming to the US soon. I personally did not want to wait as RGB isn't a necessity for me. I would expect the RGB version to cost a bit more though. For an entry level to mid range mech keyboard, I think this thing does really well. Highly recommend, especially when on a discounted price. I payed 69.99 for mine and was kind of blown away.

Nice Keyboard
This Royal Kludge RK96 is an excellent keyboard with fantastic initial quality, except for one issue I’ll describe later. I also have a Royal Kludge RK61 that I can compare against. First impression is that this keyboard is way heavier than expected. I'd attribute that to the very large battery. The LED lighting is a nice feature. The pale light blue is pleasant, and there are loads of lighting modes to choose from. My favorite are the reactive modes, where the lights react to each keypress. However, I could see that becoming distracting very quickly. The keys all move very nicely, and I don't notice a significant difference in the feel of each of the keys. I got the board with the brown switches, which feels just right. The keys have a fairly uniform feel. The bump of the brown-style key is present, though I don’t notice it all that much when actively typing. The sound of each keypress is pleasant, though if you hit some of the keys hard enough, there’s a bit of a ping sound on the release, especially on keys near where the letters meet the number pad. Compared to my RK61, it feels a bit more solid. I'm not able to fully compare the sound as my RK61 has the blue switches (also nice, but not suited for office work). The keycaps are a bit more glossy on this keyboard than the grainy texture felt on the RK61.Bluetooth on this keyboard works nicely. It’s fairly easy to connect to my device without a lot of hassle. I’ve yet to test the other connection methods, but I’m glad they are available. The hotkeys all appear to work correctly. I like the volume control, which is far easier to access than the RK61. The battery indicator from the hot keys is a very nice touch, and it appears to move in 10% increments.Downsides:From how I sit in front of the keyboard, the indicator lights for Numlock, Capslock, etc are blocked by the keys in front of them. I would have to lean over the keyboard to be able to see those lights. It’s odd, but I don’t need to look at that often enough to be a big issue.A bigger problem was that the enter key next to the number pad appeared to be inserted incorrectly. When I attempted to pull the key cap using the supplied tool, the switch came with it. The pins under the switch were a bit bent. After adjusting the pins and re-inserting the switch and keycap, it appears to work just fine. This is something that should have been corrected in quality control in the factory. For this issue, I took a star off the rating. Not really a downside, since this keyboard is specifically downsized, but I wish RK made a full-size Bluetooth keyboard. There’s surprisingly few options out there for that criteria.

Best layout, decent package
Probably the best 'compact' layout which keeps the numpad. Much better than 96% layout since the zones are divided. The led is blue, which works. The switches are hot swappable So i honestly don't care about the original switches. The led is surprisingly bright for a budget board (most budget board with RGB are dim), and the price is decent, typical RK fashion. The usb dongle is magnetically attached and is quite sturdy, and the big bonus is that you get 2 usb type a pass through ports which is great for putting the dongle of your wireless mouse. The original switch (blue) is okay, nothing to write home about. I swapped a set of cherry RGB clear switches as this will be my main work keyboard. The volume wheel is very useful as well. The biggest con is the wrist rest, which has a matte finish rather than a rubberized finish but that's fine. However the wrist pad is simply too small and I can't rest my wrist on it, which is quite annoying. To summarize, I'm very satisfied with this keyboard. Amazing product as usual from RK.Pro:-layout-volume roller (rare feature)-bright led-2 usb passthrough port-hot swappable switches-decent stabilizer-3 mode wireless-2 stage height adjustable standCons:-useless wrist rest-i personally prefer white led to blue-would be better if the on/off switches were on the side of the keyboard rather than on the bottom

Je recommande
Très bon clavier . C’est agréable de joué dessus ou juste d’écrire des documents etc . Cela fait maintenant plus d’un an que je l’ai et je n’ai rencontré aucun problème , l’installation a été très simple.

Ottimo prodotto, consigliato
The media could not be loaded.
