The best proxxon tool I own
I own the MBS/E bandsaw (which is garbage) and the MF70 mill (which is OK at best), but this one is at a whole other level. I've used it for ~100hrs by now and even made some upgrades. It's a pleasure to work with. The only thing I wish it could do is coarser threads. This is quite ironic: the featured picture for this product shows a metal rod with a thread near the tail stock, but that thread it not possible to make with this machine.

Very good, not great.
The mini lathe market really sucks, you have to choose between cheap Chinese junk and cheap Chinese junk with a fancy name on it which is why i was attracted to the European lineage of this brand. Overall its very good but if you have used other German made tools you will see some disappointing areas. It feels very solid and the controls are smooth. I would say the most disappointing part is the motor. It is not smooth or powerful and is loud and rattles. overall I am neutral on the lathe, I am happy that i did not buy a Chinese model as I would rather support US or European based companies.
