Q: Is it backwards compatible with PCI 3?

Yes, PCIe is both forwards and backwards compatible. For example, this gen 4 NVMe SSD will work in a gen 3 PCIe slot, and a gen 3 NVMe SSD would also work in a gen 4 PCIe slot. Do note however that speeds will typically be reduced in doing this as Gen 3x4 can only go up to 4000MB/s or 4GB/s. This will NOT AFFECT this particular drive as it caps out at 3500MB/s anyways, but most Gen 4 NVMe SSD's start at around 5000MB/s now.

Q: Is this ssd qlc or tlc?
