I received this sweater 10/19/18 in FL, for a 11/30/18 trip to D.C. Wore it for the FIRST TIME 11/30/18. All I had over the sweater was my coat. When I took my coat off after one hour, this is how I found the Jennie Liu sweater: I refuse to pay $118.00 for such poor quality and will file a complaint with Jennie Liu BBB.

This is a classic black turtleneck made in luxurious cashmere. It feels very soft. The cashmere is medium thickness not as thin as some but not really thick either, so the turtle neck is good for layering - warm without adding bulk. The turtle neck covers my entire neck and stands straight up so it keeps my neck warm. We just went from nice and warm weather to really cool evenings and this turtle neck has been perfect in the evenings.The workmanship on the turtle neck is excellent. I am including a couple of photos of the inside seams - the best way to tell how well a garment is made - and they very neat and nice looking. This is a beautiful sweater, and the perfect weight for layering. I am sensitive to wool and will start to itch immediately, but this cashmere is very soft and didn't cause any irritation. Unfortunately, the sizing is off. I bought it in two sizes, my usual size which was too small, and the next size up which was too big, and the turtleneck is too high, so I had to return it. I wish they made it in a mock turtleneck, and that they offered more colors in the larger sizes.

This fabric balls very easily and it takes a lot of work to get rid of them every time I wear it.

Fit well, nicely made but a little too scratchy for my taste. When I've had cashmere in the past, one of the advantages was that it was not scratchy. I'm pretty sure this is not pure cashmere - must be mixed with some other kind of wool.

This sweater is so perfect I don't even know where to begin with the praise. It is my personal opinion that a cashmere sweater given it's price should have a classic fit so it will be wearable many years. This sweater exactly fits the bill for my idea of a classic fit: slim and skimming, never tight, never sack like. It's slightly nipped in at the waist for a flattering fit. The sleeves are skimming the arms without being snug at all, and without being bulky. The length is perfect: the sweater touches the lowest point of the pocket opening which again in my book is classic -- not too short and not too long. The material is densely yet finely knit -- perfect for California temperatures and perfect for tucking into high-waisted skirts and pants. The turtleneck sits right against the neck without being tight, and is nice and high (elegant!). The neck opening is wide enough to allow putting the sweater on and taking it off comfortably. It's the tiniest bit scratchy now but I know this will change after the first gentle hand washing. I'm 5"5' and 140 lbs and ordered the Medium. I love it so much that I immediately ordered more colors.

I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this cashmere sweater is. The weight is not heavy, but substantial enough to keep you warm. This is a classic turtleneck. Fits well. Looks equally nice under a jacket or alone. I came back and purchased the same sweater in camel. Looks, fits and feels as nice as cashmere sweaters I have paid a lot more for.

I am 5'3" and 115 lbs and the small is a perfect fit. The sleeves aren't too long, and the length of the sweater itself is excellent, hitting me somewhat lower than on the (probably very tall) model in the photo. The "berry" color is actually a beautiful fuchsia. The quality of the cashmere seems nice--- soft and not thin--- so I hope that it holds up and doesn't "pill" like some cheap cashmere does. Time will tell, I guess. I liked the sweater so much that I ordered two more: the plum, which is quite dark, but a very pretty shade, and the blue, which I returned as it's actually blue-grey (not like clear blue in the photo), which is not a good color for me.

Bought this as a gift for a friend. It was a small fit and the supposed pure cashmere was very thin. I am disappointed.
