I purchased this set as part of a project to convert my wood-burning chimenea to a natural gas "fire feature" for our outdoor deck.I used this log set with a 6" gas burner and a base of lava rocks (to conceal the burner and help distribute the flames around the logs.My chimenea is about 18-20" diameter, and this set was plenty large to "fill" it with a realistic fire. I actually have 1-2 pieces left over at the moment; I can add them later if I decide to change the arrangement a bit.With the appropriate burner, this throws a decent amount of heat and has a very realistic look to it. Best of all, I can simply turn off the gas when I'm ready to head inside!I was delighted with the result!

When the description says 3 to 9 inches, it really means mostly 3 to 4 inches in length. I had a hard time placing the logs on the fireplace grate because they weren't long enough to reach between the iron bars. This product is much smaller than I would have imagined, I think they should rename it "Tiny Fake Fireplace Logs." They're ok for a rental. I've had a lot of fireplaces in my time and this amount of wood would burn in less than 5 minutes in a real fireplace.

I read the reviews, knew they would be small however they are REALLY SMALL!! But since I bought them to simply add character to my gas fire pit they will suffice. They are realistic, but SMALL. Please keep in mind that in person they will be SMALL, probably smaller than you are imagining. Three stars but only because they are not big enough for five. Did I mention they are SMALL???

I have not used these yet and will update this review if anything changes. I bought these for a small propane outdoor that I use for carcamping and wanted to replace the the lava rocks as they they get powdery and messy. I wanted these logs I they fit nicely in the unit, provide warmth and ambience when the propane is burning, and travel nicely when I put the lid on it. So far they are exactly what I was hoping for.

I love the variety of the items that comes in the box, however they are about half the size I expected them to be so I was slightly disappointed. Our fireplace isn’t huge so I just have to order a second set to really be able to see them on the rack. Other than that, decent purchase for the price.

I don't often review products but I felt it necessary to review these. As others have mentioned these are small, that having been said I bought them to fill in a gas set I recently purchased at HD. WOW my gas fireplace now looks real. The set I bought from HD had 7 logs and looked ok but these definitely completed the look. I'm extremely pleased!!

We are very pleased with the logs that we ordered from you. We use them in our gas fire pit that we bought from you lastyear. We camp a lot. It's cozy sitting around the fire pit watching the fire. With the logs it makes it seem like real logs are buring. Thank you very much.

The set was exactly what I wanted.Sizes were good and fit inside my little fire table.They are realistic looking and I am happy with them.
