This is a very bright light in a cute intuitive device. Very, very bright--you will want to avoid looking at it; so bright that I can't say "I hate it." There are a couple of reasons I can't recommend it.The first problem I noticed was the broken toggles. Two of the four-pack had the switches broken off. They were shipped in a padded envelope with the predictable result. I fixed mine with JB Weld epoxy and a wooden splint trimmed to fit inside the broken part, but you might choose to contact customer support. Annoying, but not a deal-breaker.Next, I found that the magnets embedded in the base will not hold it up with batteries installed. The velcro stickers provided will not hold it either, not vertically and certainly not overhead. You could use the keyhole slots provided to mount it with screws, but it will be a little wobbly because the magnets stick out and keep it from laying flat. I mounted mine with industrial hook-and-loop, similar to velcro, and Weldwood Contact Cement. Still not impossible, but not convenient.The deal-breaker is battery usage. You can switch it on for a short task but they fade in ten minutes and total life is about 20 minutes. I considered wiring a power supply into them, but there are sleeker lights available for hard-wiring.I won't be ordering any more of these.Edit with disclaimer: I bought ASIN B073327N5Q from vendor Espanolamor on Amazon. I was initially very excited to receive these versatile lights. However upon receipt, all switches had large cracks on the clear plastic. Also there were scratches all over the white portion of the plastic on all the lights. It almost seemed as if the lights were not new product. Unfortunately for me I did not open the package right away so I was unaware of the damage until after the return window had closed. And lastly, some of the magnets on the back of the lights continue to fall out so I'm going to have to glue them so they remain in place. So in spite of the fact the light switches are very bright and versatile, I am very disappointed that the product I received seemed not to be in new condition.

If you have a closet that doesn't have a light in it, you have to get one of these. I can now actually see which shirt I'm grabbing out of the closet without having to turn on the overhead light and waking up the wife. I also have one mounted in my safe so I can see what I'm getting out. I've even taking one to use in the tent when camping.They have a multitude of uses so you can't go wrong buying a set of these lights.

Similar to a 40 watt incandescent bulb but more intense light. I am going to try and use the Velcro hook up but not sure if that will work on my camper I made, hanging from the ceiling. If not I can install with screws. Bright light for my situation. I removed the magnets as they do stick out just a little to interfere with the Velcro. Two of them came with the magnets popped out already. Quality control issue. Here are pics with the lights off and on.

Great little lights for closets, but switch wears out.

These are great for places that 120v power is not available. They are bright enough to provide light to a whole room... At least enough to see what's going on!

After a dozen or so uses the off on switch stopped working

These are just so clever and I can't tell you how many times these have come in handy. I haven't even placed them. Our lights went out and they made the house very comfortable for carrying on with normal activities. We've used these outside underneath our umbrella to provide light for the patio... worked like a charm and they are magnetic, so they stuck to the pole in the rafters of our umbrella. We've got one in the storage shed and it lights the whole thing up. I have a dark shower because of the curtains and these provide that extra amount of light when you want to see. I also have some of the single lights, but these duals are the greatest and most convenient thing. These work great in any dark corner and they fortunately arrived just before a power outage where they were incredibly useful. You can read by these lights and I put one on the side of a metal cooler and they literally lit up the yard enough so I could see my black dog comfortably at night even though he was walking the fence line over 30 feet away from me.
