I have natural hair and I love how it keeps the moisture in my hair overnight. The only thing about this scarf is the simple fact that it does slide off. But hey, it's silk....what do you expect. It is more than large enough for you to wrap around your head no matter how big your head is and no matter how much hair you have. Even when I wear protective styles like long braids or extensions I am able to fully wrap my head/hair to maintain the moisture in my hair and protect my hair from pillow fibers to promote hair growth

So soft, beautiful, and comfortable! I use it at night to "plop" my hair. It holds my hair well, although it does take a little bit of effort to get it to stay because of the slippery material.

Washes well. Stays in place most of the time. Very pretty. Color in person matches on screen.

This is definitely silk. For anyone saying this is polyester Trust me when I tell you if it was polyester I would have returned it. Every time anything polyester touches my scalp or my skin I get itchy as hell. This scarf has not caused that at all. I wear the silk part toward my head and don’t have any issues. It does slide off so I purchased a velvet wig cap to hold it in place. Definitely worth the price to me.

It needs directions how to tie . It’s a large scarf . Like material but haven’t a clue how you are supposed to tie it on your head

I was really on the fence about getting this because of the price, but ultimately went with it because I needed real silk for preserving cornrows. This is the real thing, and it ended up being so worth it. The fabric is soft, the color is high quality, and it preserved my cornrows and curls now, too!

As someone who was used to wearing satin and other fake silk scarves, this 100% silk scarf was a bit shocking at first. It felt heavier, a bit rougher, and in some ways thicker than satin. And if you’re wearing it to bed at night, like me, then it seems like it would be uncomfortable and not protective. However, if you’re familiar with the differences between satin and silk, and the momme count, you will know that these are indeed the characteristics of real silk and it is still just as protective—even on the “rougher” side. The choice between satin and silk for me came down to breathability and keeping me cool during the night. As someone with thick hair, who suffers from night sweating, ruining my blowouts between washes, I realized that my trusty satin pillowcases, bonnets, and scarves, were not just trapping in heat, but actually causing the heat. Since I’ve replaced these items with real silk I have not found myself overheating at all. It does take a little getting used to the amount of fabric for me. My standard satin scarf and largest is 33” x 33”. This scarf is 36 x 36. It’s quite a lot of fabric and I’m not sure why lol. It does make it sort of hard to tie in the standard triangular fashion, but I just sort of figured it out. I’m hoping they can make a smaller scarf between 28 and 33 inches—and some bonnets would be a plus as well. I’ve used the silk scarf and the pillowcase and I recommend them both! I also haven’t experienced it sliding off but I think that’s just from learning how to tie it and making sure it’s tight enough.
