I'm 6ft about 270 with a wide muscular frame. This holster set up fit me well and was exactly what I was looking for. Clips fit the kydex holster I had and straps are easily adjustable. See how it wears over time for durability.

This was pretty awesome. Built this with an OTW holster I found here for about $25. Combined the 2 and saved myself $100 from what appears to be the exact same thing elsewhere. Wore it on numerous hikes and found it to be comfortable and it held its fit with a fully loaded Sig 10mm. Absolutely recommend and pretty easy to put together.

The harness appears to be of good quality materials and seems well put together. To be clear it does not come with a holster. I subtracted a star because my first harness didn't come with any mounting hardware. I just used the hardware that was on my existing holster and it worked fine but I would have preferred to have some longer screws do to the thickness of the leather pieces you use to attach the buckles to the holster. I saw in several reviews that the leather had a tendency to stain and I would agree. I soaked my leather pieces for a few minutes then blotted them dry and clamped them after feeding them though the slots of the buckles. I let them dry over night and this seemed to work great and they held their shape.I own several kenai chest holsters and this harness seems like a good alternative if you don't want to spend the money on the real deal. It's great if you already own a kydex holster for your favorite EDC and want to convert it to a chest holster. I ended up buying a second harness because I want to use it for a holster for a pistol/light combination that GFI does not offer. As a final note this harness will only work with a kydex Outside the Waistband (OTW) holster with detachable beltloops or clips.

The fabric, stitching and hardware is great quality. The sizing is somewhat limiting. I am a 6’3” 220 fit guy and this will not work for my frame.

This makes a perfect fit for my pistol, with the Muddy River Tactical holster. The position is great and the weapon is out of the way when hiking or hunting.

I need this for the deer lease when it's cold as blazes and I'm tooling around on my 4-wheeler. I needed something that would fit on the outside of my cold weather gear and this product works great, with conditions:The first holster I tried installing was from Phalanx. The Phalanx company makes a great holster that can carry virtually anything from a 10mm XDM to a Shield EZ 9. I have several and use them as my EDC gear.I wanted this to work because I wouldn't be limited to carrying just one model of pistol. The Phalanx did not work with the Chest Rig because there wasn't enough space between the handle of the pistol and the right handed clip. I couldn't get my hand in there without a healthy pinch to my fingers. Add the fact that I'm wearing gloves and it's a non starter.My next choice was an old Supertuck IWB that was brand new but I never ended up using it. The wide leather platform is perfect, but it only will carry the one pistol that it was made for.3-stars.
