Quality brand.
This machine was to replace a Singer Serger that I bought decades ago and literally wore out. It more than fills the bill. So happy with my upgraded purchase.

Nice surprise!
I bought mine during lockdown. It wasn’t what I wanted, but sergers were hard to come by. It turns out, it was exactly what I wanted/needed! It is reliable and makes a nice stitch. The threading is not at all complicated. Very happy customer!

While the stitches and options in stitches are nice, there are some concerns. Comes with multiple feet and functions. I received this as a gift and will keep it and use it, but will not get rid of my old Bernina serger. There are some nice features in stitch options such as the blind overlock stitch, but there are also handicaps and what I also consider a safety issue. For starters, the lever to raise and lower the presser foot works opposite. To raise the foot, you must press the lever down. To lower it, you pull up on the lever. That is backwards from my other sergers. Another issue is the space width between the table surface of the serger area and the base of the thread holder. it limits the ability to serge items that may have bulk to them. They get stuck. The serger foot itself is wider than I have been used to and could be an issue if you are trying to serge a cushion or item with cording. You would have to increase the seam size because the foot is too wide to accommodate a normal seam width for such. The safety issue for me is the serger thread knife. There is no protection for your fingers if you are guiding the fabric through. It is too far forward when compared to the Bernina serger knife position. I cut my finger as I guided my fabric through. The way the looper door is built, it leaves the knife exposed when closed, unlike the Bernina, and other brands. In these, the knife is guarded by the design of the looper door that you pull to the right to open and expose the loopers. The space where the knife trims the fabric is also poorly designed due to the angle of the drop of the removed fabric into the thread catcher. The trimmed thread tends to clog up instead of sliding down. If you want to try this machine, go to a store and give it a try in person before buying.
