Works absolutely wonderful for newborn, especially when they don’t have head control yet easy to use easy to clean great design easy to bring with if you are doing Ec Outside the home. Lightweight.

I use this potty with my son. I think it works better for him than the top hat potty because it's raised in the front. The cushion around the rim made the potty cozy and not cold. It's comfortable and easy to clean. My only complaint is that I would like the potty to have a larger bottom so that it's easier to set down without worrying that it might tip over if it's not completely flat.

I was hesitant to try this, as my baby is a boy and the whole EC thing just felt daunting. I started using this a little before he turned 3 months and it took about a week of trying before he used it successfully - but now at 4 months, he uses it several times a day. I can tell he often prefers it to using his diaper, I'll put him on it when he's fussing and it will turn out that he just needed to 'go.' If you're hesitant, I'd encourage you to just give it a try! It can't hurt. I'd originally planned to try the tophat style, but with a boy, the shape works well to have a higher bowl on one side.

I chose this one, out of the many options, due to the price! I began elimination communication or infant potty training with my 8w old with this potty and have had a lot of success. It took a few tries to figure out positioning which can feel defeating but my baby got comfortable with it fast! We have already saved many diapers! It is perfect for infants 0-6m for sure and weighs virtually nothing. You can move it around the house or take it on the go! It is easy to use and comes with a little manual to help get you started. It is very easy to clean! I rinse it out after each successful elimination and do a more thorough wash at the end of each day. No vigorous cleaning necessary! The anti-slip strips work fairly well! It is easier to stabilize it with them on then without.

We have had several successful catches and it's the right size for my 8 lb baby. We're constantly knocking it over while trying to get seated on it or getting the diaper/clothes off. It also needs an extra seat cover because it gets soiled frequently, which I can'tfind for sale. It is easy to store and has been helpful, but it really needs a wider base as the times you're using it you have one hand or less and are in a hurry.

I've been using this for elimination communication. Started with 3 month old. I debated about getting this or a top hat style. I've been happy with this so far, but I've never used a top hat, so I can't compare. Easy to use. Easy to clean. The handle is helpful for pouring. The black soft liner (we call it the potty scrunchie) is kind of nice, but you have to take it off each time you dump it. Eventually we just stopped using it. It would be nice if it came with two, so if it got wet you could always have a back up.

Really awesome! My baby instinctively knew how to use it. Started off with a different brand top hat potty but it was very small and too round, my baby’s male genitalia didnt fit at all in it. We got this one and he definitely fits better but will ultimately have the same problem soon as he is getting bigger and only 5 weeks old now. I do wish it came with more liners or an option to buy more. 4 stars because I wish it had more sizes and more liners Ultimately don’t let other nay sayers and negative skepticism keep you from trying it. My son used it the very first time I put him on at 3 weeks old.

Absolutely perfect for elimination communication. I love how it is at an angle, very helpful for those with baby boys! Just wish it had extra seat covers, or at least the option to buy more.
