Great product no problems
It's often a problem to get dislike medals to thread together well. I'm a professional plumber and as like most professional plumbers will use pipe dope and a Teflon tape. I tighten up all 4 3\4 male adapters into this unit and had no leaks with any of them. Seems to be an excellent unit a great price love the fact that it's all stainless steel have had to copper ones Corrode and leak.

It does exactly what is says
This is being used with a stand by water heater to heat my hot tub. Great unit.

Workmanship is lacking.
The threads in the fittings are not completely cut to depth and were rough. Could not get either end to seal, until I had the fittings silver soldered, for the third installation.

It leaks!
This product has a manufacturing flaw. The threads are not cut properly on this side arm heat exchanger. You will need to use a liberal amount of thread seal tape as well as a good thread sealing compound / pipe dope if you want to TRY to get the 4 ports on this thing not to leak. I highly recommend soldering your threaded metal to metal connections to alleviate the unnecessary aggravation of repeated attempts to get a water tight bond.
