I purchased these mini connectors for use on my model railway. I wanted to use them to connect between diesel multiple units. Originally the pick up was very poor and the unit would stall for the slightest reason. Arranging a temporary wire from the rear unit to the power car provided the solution but didn't look very elegant! Now with these mini connctors I have installed interior lighting and head and tail lights. Very nice. The leads and plugs are easily identified and assembled. In the kit are various coloured leads, male and female which you can fit into the recepticle to suit your needs.(2,3,4 or 5 way) Usual dose of imagination and surprising what you can achieve. Good value for money, provided in a neat storage box.

These are soo tiny, I would not be able to crimp these myself so this really helped.

Bought this for making my own connectors for my Ender 3 S1 3D Printer, the wires are silicone and are very delicate, they bend very easily and snap when twisting. It's a great kit to have on hand.

Very cheep quality , and not fit for purpose

This were disappointing. They don't come assembled and when you try push the crimp into holder it doesn't stay in. The metal crimps look the part but are made of a very sub standard soft metal. The little tab that's meant to click into place to hold the crim in the plastic part is so soft it cant hold tight. it bends on insertion and doesn't recover. These are unusable unless you want to have a stack of pre-cut wires.

The wire included in this set is nice silicone insulated 28AWG wire. The wire feels much better than the alternative with PVC wire. The sizes in this set range from 2P to 6P. If you need more than 6P, you should get the set with PVC insulated wire since it has the range of 2P to 10P. If you get the other set, you might want to also get this set. The wire in this set is so much nicer than the PVC wire. I purchased both sets and I'm glad I did. If you have trouble inserting the crimped connectors into the housing, you might want to get the version with PVC wire. The PVC wire is easier to use when making up sets of connectors. You really need to be careful when making a connector. The small metal latch has to be inserted in the correct orientation. It's easier to understand how these connectors go together if you take apart one which had been previously prepared. The proper orientation of the metal end isn't always intuitive. The connector never really feels completely secure but I think that's the downside of using connectors this small. The connectors in this set work just fine with the 1.25mm connectors in the PVC wire set. Keep in mind, these are small connectors. You can't power normal sized servos with this sort of connector. These connectors are mainly used on data lines.
