Perfect. Easy to install
I replaced the door cylinder on our storm door after it bent from over-opening the door. Figured I'd try a wind-chain to avoid this happening again. This product was perfect. Easy to install, sturdy, inexpensive, shipped quickly - and the storm door no longer swings WIIIIIIIIIIIDE open.

Very inexpensive
This door chain was cheap but rugged. It was easy to mount.& and works well for my shed door. It was very easy to install. These instructions were straightforward although the writing was small I needed to take a picture from my phone, then blow it up to read it.

Very good closer
Used this on heavy security door. Works great. Replaced medium duty model in use for 13 years. Much happier with this one.

OK, but the mounting tabs are worthless
Sadly, you buy a high end screen door now and you do not get a safety chain. I bought this Wright kit and I am disappointed with the quality. The chain is OK, but the two tabs that secure the chain to the door and to the jamb are super thin. The tab to the door is literally a thin T shaped tab that distorted to allow the chain to pull out the first time the wind caught it. I ended up screwing the chain directly to the door for more strength. Also, they used to give you a length of thin tubing to slide over the chain to minimize noise, prevent anything from getting caught in it, and to prevent the chain from scratching the door. Sorry, they have cheaped out on this, too.

Simple to install
The chain was simple to install. While the directions on the package were accurate, I did view a YouTube video on installation that helped orient me.My only issue was that the recommended nail placement to anchor the “hold spring” (optional, but it keeps the chain from hanging down) was in the same area as my door closer hardware. Other than that, it took 4 drill holes and installed quickly. Works great!

Does it's job, keeps the wind from flinging my door wide.
We put these on our glass storm doors to keep them from getting flung wide and breaking or hitting the light mounted beside the door frame. It works great, along with a pneumatic door closer cylinder to keep my door from damage.
