I absolutely, LOVE the Elite Gourmet Rice Cooker. It is like having a little electric caldren from days of yore. You can cook just about anything in it. Scrambled eggs, chicken, steak, stews, soups, not just rice!It only has a single switch that says "Cook & Warm". That's all you need. Simple with no complication. Plug it in, add oil, chop your meat or cook legs and thighs of chicken. Did 8 pieces of chicken legs, added oyster sauce, chopped tomatoes, potatoes, etc. It cooked it all in 20 minutes.I now cook all my meals in this little pot. Meat and sauce first, then brown ricr. This little pot is so amazing and easy to clean. Stainless steel. No chemicals like teflon to lrach into your food. Wash the steel bowl, let it soak for awhile with hot water and soap. If food is stuck to the bottom.After you let it soak. Use a wood spatula to scrape the bottom and then wash with a scrub pad, like you do the other dishes and all will come out easy peasy. Make sure you dry the outside before puting the pot back into the plastic container. No water can touch the heating element or it will be damaged. I follow this rule faithfully.This little pot is portable, so I take it to other people's houses and cook for them. It can feed 3 or 4 people easily. I can't tell you all the new ways and things to cook in this little gem. I take it everywhere. I enjoy cooking now because how fast I can get things done!I fully recommend this product. It has changed my busy life. So now I can eat fresh food and veggies all the time because this little pot cooks it all!

Have been using this rice cooker for 3 years now with no issues. The best part is its sturdy stainless steel inner pot high quality which is also dish water safe.

I received the ricecooker. It was clearly cheap quality which surprised me cause it wasn’t cheap. The bowl was poor quality. The cup only goes to 3/4 cup. Not 1 full cup. Like why?I got it ready to cook rice and because it was the first time I decided to keep an eye on it. If I hadn’t my kitchen would have burned down. It started smelling weird and then smoke came out and it was boiling violently. I pulled the plug immediately and after it cooled down I removed the bowl to see that it had literally melted some paint on the inside and it was clearly burnt.I am very disappointed cause I was really looking forward to using it. Overpriced fire hazard. Do not buy!

The warm option will only keep the cooked rice dry. It does a great job cooking the rice. It's a stainless steel pot, easy to clean. Very efficient, only takes less than 20 mins cooking the rice.

I wanted to replace my aluminum rice cooker with stainless steel, but i didn't want bells and whistles. This one is exactly right. I like the Keep Warm feature. It's not bulky and doesn't take up a ton of counter room. Rice comes out right every time, now that I'm rinsing it first. The pot and lid are easy to clean. It uses less water than my old cooker, too!

First use have problems with switch jump off all time. After fixed worked well until now.Stainless steel pot thick after clean look good and recook again

It cooks rice fast and also turns off automatically when it's done

It cooks well but after the 2nd use, I started seeing dark spots that wouldn't come off, after a few weeks it developed more and more. The stainless steel, if it is at all, is a very bad quality. Waste of money.
