The Norton Anthology of World Literature

This textbook is for my upper level English class at college. It is most helpful in my class. The stories, written centuries ago, are very exciting, especially "The Epic of Gilgamesh." I enjoy this book immensely and I'm glad I've got it for my own personal library after my class is over.

The actual content is easy to follow, translations are accurate and brings light forth to the author's true intentions; however, from a product's quality perspective, the quality of the pages is incredibly poor and keep tearing. : (Hopeful it holds out for another 14 weeks.

I’m sure this is a great book but I never used it in class.

the basis of all literature is in this one volumn. It is a must read for anyone who wants to know where it all started. The universality of themes in each piece is brilliantly highlighted here.

This anthology is the best book about mythology it does describe everything on simple English. It also provides a summary at the very beginning and foot notes that provide additional information.

Book came in great condition. Was also an interesting read.

Was a little dinged up when it got to me along one side of the spine, but otherwise, perfect condition. And quite the collection of literature.
