Best Timer to help with ADHD time blindness!
I know these timers are marketed a lot towards kids but honestly if it helps, who cares? After being diagnosed with ADHD in my 30s, this timer has helped me curb the amount of time I lose doing different tasks due to time blindness that comes with ADHD. I am still struggling to get an accurate feel for the correct amount of time passage, which I have considered may never happen for me but I am still gunna try! However, as long as I keep this timer within eye sight and easily accessible, I am drawn to use it. It helps me see how long tasks actually take me so that I can plan ahead better and when I finish something early I can visually see the difference! My whole life I have always felt behind and rushing to catch up and this has helped curbed some of that. The main issue for ADHDers is that you actually have to regularly use it for it to make a difference. ;)

Simple to use, but missing some basic features
Pros -Easy to use. Twist to the number that you want and press start.Has a pause button! (Wouldn't have bought it otherwise)Nice visual countdown - this is what sets it apart from the othersCons -No off switch?! Feels like a big waste of batteries if I want to go a few days without using it.Once it ends the countdown at zero, it stays there. I'd really prefer for it to default back to the time you set last, to use the timer again. If you are only doing 5 minute intervals it would not be a big deal, but I like to do 30 minutes, and it gets annoying to spin it all the way over there each time.Needs a stand. I like to use this at my desk and there is no good way to place it upright. An L shaped metal bracket would probably work well, allowing the outer ring to still fully spin.A stopwatch feature would be nice. Most timers have this included.

The winner of my gladitorial timer tournament
I bought this along with 2 other timers for my kids to use over a year ago and this one is the only survivor. The first to go down was the generic mechanical egg timer after a few months of very light use.The next contender was a "60 minute Visual Timer" of which there are now plenty of knock offs on Amazon all with the same visual wheel and a max time of 60 minutes. That one lasted a year before it too suffered a break in something physical and wouldn't turn. Good riddance too. With no way to pause or time anything beyond an hour it was the least favorite of the kids. This one is going strong and unlike all the others it's store page still exists. Plenty of regular use, probably quite a few drops and bumps. The visual aspect isn't amazing. As others have stated it's variable as what the visual wheel represents and therefore kind of arbitrary. However it's been infinitely useful with it's ability to pause and resume and time setting so simple a kid could do it. The batteries have held out this long as well with daily use.

Time timer times TIME, not eggs! (lol at the name)—it’s a great device!
I love almost everything about this timer— it’s adorable look, the visible countdown, the simplicity. You literally just dial how many minutes you want and push the button. Push to turn off. Does increments of full minutes, so no seconds counting. But that’s fine as I use it for piano practice mostly.I do wish the bottom part had a flat section or a stand to keep it upright though. Otherwise, great magnetic use.

Easy set battery timer 1-90min invaluable work tool!!
I have found no other product like this, I had a soccer timer with a rotating bezel to set the time, but I lost it, and I could not find another timer like it, I think they stopped making it. This timer is the closest thing I have found.1. Quick to set the time intervals, most timers are a pain to set, this is just a dial twist, very quick and intuitive2. I could use my phone, but my phone is used for so many things, it is just too much, I want a stand alone device3. I need to discipline myself with sprints of work that are different sizes, and I need to be able to see the time remaining4. I do not want a loud and undependable mechanical timer, I need something silent and visual5. Needs to be portable so I can put in in my man purse6. Needs to have a large display so I can pace myself and discipline my work sprintsThis is a very simple device but there is nothing I have found like it, I struggle with attention and focus, so I need to have something that is a tool for this discipline, this timer is invaluable to me.I wish it was slightly thinner with a tactile bezel, and a slightly brighter face, but honestly it does all my must haves, thank you for making this timer, this is one of my most important tools!!!

Not a good kitchen timer, maybe lost its way
I do not recommend this for cooking if you need to set timers quickly and see their progress from across the room.We love the original Time Timer for use with our school age kids. The two basics are (1) that 100% = 60min to match up with an analog clock and (2) the scale never changes. So when you glance at the Time Timer and see a quarter of it left, you know you have 15 minutes left in the timer. I was hoping this timer would bring the same simplicity and elegance to our kitchen. The big problem is that the timer adjusts the scale based on the total time you set. For example, a 60 minute timer will start with the whole circle full, and a 5 minute timer will also start with the whole circle full. I didn’t think this would be a big deal, but it means that when you glance at the timer you can’t tell how much time you have left by the visual alone. A quarter of the timer full might mean 15 minutes left or 75 seconds left depending on what you originally set set. So the whole beauty of the original design is unfortunately lost with this digital version.Other than that, it’s accurate since it’s digital. It’s relatively easy to set, though twisting can actually be tough to get precisely the time you want. The magnet works ok, but it’s raised up and only along a single line, so when you press the top or bottom it rocks up and down.

Útil y buen diseño
Es fácil de usar, buen diseño. La carátula se raya fácilmente por ser tipo acetato. Tiene funcionalidad para pegarse magnéticamente. Bastante recomendable.

Très bien
The media could not be loaded. Magnétique. Facile d utilisation. Vraiment idéal en version numérique donc plus simple pour la lecture .par contre se tourne vers la gauche pour mettre le temps donc un peu perturbant au début.

Good - when it works ;)
It doesn't work all the time, something is loose in there - but when it works - it's very good!
