Surprisingly Nice Optic that is well Featured at this Price Range
For the going price of less than half of name brand versions of this scope, I was pleasantly surprised by the build quality and optical clarity on this optic. I opted for the 4-12x40 version with the MDR Reticle, so that I could use it for small targets as well as larger ones. This is a Second Focal Plane style scope, which means that the reticle does not appear to change at all with changes to magnification (it stays the same size as the image around it grows or shrinks).Out of the box this scope is solid and weighs just 14.5oz with the lens covers. It’s 13-inches long with a diameter of 4cm at the eyepiece, and 4.5cm at the objective lens. The covered adjustment turrets work well and have audible clicks for each ¼” MOA adjustment. The dials and knobs are smooth without any grainy feeling. The zoom and diopter focus knobs are a bit stiff, but I certainly prefer that to too loose. The glass is clear and the reticle sharp.Pros:- The eye-relief on this is decent; not great, but not terrible either. You can get a good sight picture anywhere from around 3.5 to 4.5 inches, with approximately 4-inches from the eyepiece being the best.- There is a rubber bezel on the eyepiece. This is a nice touch as a just-in-case there is some unexpected recoil that sends the scope into your eye, as the rubber bezel will cushion the blow.- The 40mm objective lens allows a good amount of light to enter without any unnecessary weight or bulk.- The turrets need no tools for adjustments, just remove the caps and turn the knobs, which have smooth clicks with each ¼” MOA adjustment.- Branding on the housing of the scope is minimal and is not painted all over the scope.- Purports to be shockproof, nitrogen purged fogproof, and IPX7 waterproof (I have not tested these features).- Optical clarity is distortion free, and the sight picture is crisp all the way to the edges.Cons (these were not problematic enough to deduct a star):- Does not come with scope rings. I didn’t expect they would be supplied either because there was no mention of them in the listing. This is just something to be aware of if you order this.- My scope had a small scratch on the outer housing of the eyepiece, near the magnification ring. It’s minor, but still an annoyance.- Can we just talk about the brand’s tagline for a moment, it seems quite dorky: “If not us… who? If not this… what? If not now… when?”Once I had it sighted-in, the scope held zero throughout my testing on my Rem-700, and the 40mm objective lens allows for a lot of light to enter the scope, so it works well in low light situations. I also used it on one of my high-powered PCP airguns, as I know they produce different forces that can affect the internals of a scope, and this optic held-up just fine. For its current budget price, this is a really good deal on a quality scope. If you’re looking for a scope with these specifications, give this one a shot, I think you’ll be impressed. To make sure I am adhering to Amazon’s Community Posting Guidelines to ensure that this review does not get flagged, I do not have any pictures of it mounted on my rifles.

Great optics, no distortions at 12x, Mil Dot reticle, smooth controls, but no illumination.
I have no experience with this optics brand, so I was hesitant while ordering it, but I wasn't disappointed! I am really impressed with this scope. Note that it has a fairly basic Mil Dot reticle that facilitates quick target acquisition and provides elevation or windage adjustment help. The scope is specifically designed with hunting in mind, but it is perfectly usable for mid-range shooting at a range. My first impression is that it's a high quality, very well purpose-built scope that will serve you well. Magnification can be easily adjusted between 4x and 12x by turning the ring located on the eyepiece side. Eye relief adjustment is also available on the eyepiece end of the scope, which is great, I hate it when the scope does not have such a simple feature as eye relief. Eye relief and magnification rings move smoothly like a high-end camera lens. This tells a lot about the built quality of this scope. Windage and elevation turrets are large so you can do adjustments with your fingers and are covered by screw caps. Unfortunately, turrets do not feature zero-stop, though I did not expect it to have it in this price range. There are no "leashes" or wires that attach the turret caps to the scope body so when they are removed for adjustment it's very easy to drop or misplace these caps.I'd say that I was impressed by the clarity of its optics. I did not notice any distortion at 12x magnifications that usually present in lower-end cheaper options. Also, the FOV is bigger than in my Sig Sauer scope at 12x, which confirms the manufacturer's claim about the larger FOV. The scope comes with transparent lens caps connected with a rubber band and can be used without taking them off. I don't really like such a setup and will replace them with flip-up caps later on. Naturally, it's made in China, but it comes with a nice US lifetime warranty, which should give you a piece of mind. And as all optics must-have, it's fog and waterproof IPX7 rated, and nitrogen purged. The scope does not come with any rings. Which is okay, I noticed that cheaper scopes usually include rings and if rings are included, they would be the cheapest and crappiest kind. Long story short, I always throw away or give away the included rings and buy a new set of quality rings that might cost you as much as the scope itself. So, don't be discouraged by the rings absence, it's actually a good thing - you are not paying for something that you will not use. What I'm missing the most is illumination. For this price I expect to have it. I normally do not even consider a scope that does not have illumination because it greatly limits its usability especially in dusk and nighttime. Therefore, while I love all other features and the clearness of the optics, I will not be able to give it the highest rating.Pro-tip. Your best bet for zeroing it is to use a laser bore sighter. Just insert it into your barrel and zero your scope's crosshair on its dot. Then on a range you can finish fine-tuning your aim at 12x magnification according to standard Mil Dot zeroing guidelines. This will save you tons of ammo.*** TL;DR ***Yes, I do recommend this scope to every gun enthusiast. It has truly clear optics, magnification from 4x to 12x, which is perfect for hunting and mid-range shooting, eye relief. The reticle is a simple and highly effective Mil Dot crosshair, which is perfect for quick aim correction. All adjustments work smoothly, turrets are hidden under the cap, everything looks good. I'm only missing the illumination feature on this scope. Therefore, I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5.+++ Pros +++1) Lifetime warranty.2) Exceptionally well built.3) Magnification 4x to 12x.4) Simple and highly effective Mil Dot reticle.5) Fast target acquisition.6) Has eye relief.7) Comes with lens caps.8) Waterproof IPX7, nitrogen purged.9) Fairly lightweight, only 379 grams.--- Cons ---1) No reticle illumination (big minus!).2) No zero-stop.3) Does not come with rings (not really a con).4) Turret caps have no leashes.
