Fits
Works well. Fit perfect . No issues and its been a couple of months. It's was pretty easy to install. We put this in a HP Elitebook 840 G1.

Plug and play with no worries
Price was fair. Good quality. Super quiet. Plugged right in to my Elitebook 840 G1. Used YouTube video to do the replacement. BTW, despite what some videos show, you don't need to remove the keyboard to do the repair.

Incompatible with 849 G2
Do not buy for elitebook 840 G2 The old screws don't come off the fan and new one doesn't come with screws. Incompatible! Do not buy for the 840 G2!

Good value for the cost.
Perfect fit, exactly as it was described. Ease to replace and install. It's also very quiet, the old one sounded horrible

Replacement for a squealing CPU fan
This was a drop in replacement for an HP Elitebook 745 G2 There was only one hitch. The new fan did not come with the capture screws. The nylon retaining washers are split so they can carefully worked off of the old screws by removing the nylon retaining washer using fine tipped needle nose or tweezers. (Be careful not to lose the springs.)
