...Keeping in mind the blade is circular, work in circles, slowly, listening to the sound difference between hair that is cut and hair you still need to cut... The blade height is adjustable, and the settings are most suitable for an 'athletic', or 'military' style... trimming a beard with this is tricky, and lead to my current close shave LOL... I suggest using whatever technique you used previously for your beard... Charging speed is good, but the usb charging cable is proprietary, DON'T LOSE IT...

I have been cutting my own hair for about a year now, and I have always had a problem getting to the crown, and would have to come back once or twice, and even use scissors to cut back longer hair I could not get to. The Kemei 887 takes care of the crown problem. I use the next to the closest setting for my top, and a regular cutter for the sides, as I cut it shorter than this unit can do. I am very happy with the unit except for the terrible charging instructions that quote two different times for first time charging, and the led readout that makes no sense. With this unit, if you are wondering where all your hair clippings went, they are on your head, as this type clipper just dumps the hair in place, so you need to blow/brush/wash the clippings off.

This seems well made. But it makes a mess out of my head. Just ordered a different one. If your hair is soft it doesn’t cut it. If you have hair like wire it may work.

Stupid design. Ruined my hair and the merchant won’t return it after 30 days when it failed to work.Not recommended.

I spent around $50 on this. It doesn't work well, feels cheap, and the instruction packet I received seems to be for a different product.
