This operates on 12 volts so it works well on my boat.

Good quality unit, does exactly what it says it would do. I used it on a DIN rail with a 24VDC power supply and all ports worked perfectly.If you need a 24 VDC din-rail mounted unmanaged industrial switch for a great price, this is the unit to buy. I will buy more of these.

I have more than 50 of these units mounted in fiberglass boxes in West Texas. Even with the heat have had no failures. Great switch for the price. I will continue to purchase.

Works as intended. Not much to be told about it. Just an ordinary network switch. Did find out it was 24vdc only and can't do 24vac. But that wasn't a game changer. I am sure I skipped over that point.

Very confusing description and documentation.Amazon description says "No supports" for PoE, and uses "<2W" for power.Product documentation says "PoE standard" and that "unit device max PoE power" is 120W.But, documentation suggests that the "power port" is only associated with "PoE 48V".I would like to use a 12V 5A power supply to drive IP video cameras via PoE. Is this going to work or not?

Der WIWAV WDH-8ET-DC 10/100Mbps - Switch ist ein wirklich sehr gutes Produkt, welches sowohl privat für größere Netzwerke, als auch in der Industrie verwendet werden kann.Im Lieferumfang des Produkt befindet sich neben dem Switch selbst, auch ein Stromkabel, die englische Bedienungsanleitung und ein Erdungskabel. Der Switch macht einen sehr robusten, stabilen und hochwertig verarbeiteten Eindruck.Die Inbetriebnahme des Switchs ist kinderleicht. Per LAN-Kabel einfach mit dem Router verbinden, Strom und Erdung ran und schon können alle Ethernet-fähigen Geräte mit dem Switch gekoppelt werden. Mit insgesamt 8 Ports bietet er genug Platz für mehrere Geräte im Netzwerk.Mit einer Datenübertragungsrate von 10/100 Mbps bietet der Switch eine solide Geschwindigkeit. Sollte dies nicht reichen, kann auch auf das größere Gerät, welches eine Rate von 1000 Mbps schafft, ausgewichen werden.Dank dem robusten und durchdachten Design des Produkts ist es möglich, den Switch auf eine DIN-Schiene anzubringen. So kann er platzsparend in einem Serverschrank verbaut werden. Zudem kann er in einer Arbeitstemperatur von -30 bis +75 Grad angewendet werden und verbraucht relativ wenig Strom.Ich bin sehr mit dem Switch von WIWAV zufrieden und kann diesen weiterempfehlen!
