Electric Infrared Quartz Stove Heater, 5,200 BTU with black metal body

I purchased the CFI-470-10 model of this furnace. A few things. First, good luck attaching the plastic legs with the provided screws. They don't fit well and there is no way you're going to get all three of them into the base! Unless you're some sort of double jointed metamorph it is nearly impossible and you'll be screwing these things in for hours because they just won't seem to tighten down! If you get two of them in per leg, you'll be good. Don't bother with an electronic screwdriver because these bulky units won't fit into the space provided. Second, this is the dimmest fire I've ever seen. Flames should be bright and vibrant. Plan to upgrade the wimpy 40 watt bulb with at least a 60 or 80 watt LED bulb if you want something that looks realistic. This was a total disappointment! But, for the price, perhaps my standards are set too high. I don't recommend.

I was disappointed in the heat i thought it would put out. I have another one that does better with warming my room. I put this one, however in my kids room. It’s descent but I wasn’t all that satisfied with it especially for the price I paid. It is a nice looking heater but my other one is so much better

I love this looks so real and gives of nice heat. Warms my bedroom which is coldest room in house. It beats looking at the metal loud clunky box heater I had. It’s quieter for sure and gives ambiance.

Love it keep my room very warm 👌🏽👍🏽 and love the glowing light from the fireplace 😊

Update a year laterIt works great in the places where my central heating doesn't heat well but it did melt on my outlet! The other reviews were correct but I did leave my heat on for days at a time during the winter!Update-- my heater still works like a dream and im very satisfied with my purchase. I placed it on top on a end table and that worked even way better. You womt regret this purchase. I leave it on its "low" setting and i never have to worry about keeping it on allday and night. Hope I helped some of you.I bought this at walmart which was cheaper but just here to write a review to all those who love amazon more this heater is amazing. I will update my review again after a few days but my roommate turns the AC on even though its 25° F outside pissed enough i went and got this heater now my room is toasty warm :) it is very quiet and light weight do not let the box fool you.
