I purchased these leggings for a race at the beach. Because of the mixed reviews, I had low expectations; however, I am so happy with these leggings. Firstly, the color and pattern are so vibrant and pretty (I ordered rainbow), and the fabric is not see-through. Secondly, I experienced no chafing during my race - a concern since I was uncertain about the quality of the fabric. I am 5-9, with a short torso and long legs. On me, these leggings were quite high waisted and approximately 7/8 length, but that was fine for me. I did not experience the bagginess that other reviews cite - the leggings were neither too loose nor too tight. Since my race, I have worn these leggings to the gym and to Barre class, and they have performed well in those settings, too. During my race, I received so many compliments on these leggings, and since then, I receive compliments every time I wear them. Women have stopped me on the street and in stores to tell me how cute I look and to ask me where I bought these leggings. You should definitely buy them, too, to receive this boost to your self esteem. I've worn and washed these leggings several times, and I have not noticed any reduction in quality. If I need additional mermaid leggings, I will definitely be a repeat customer. I recommend these leggings - 5 stars.

I bought this in medium for a performance day at Disney! Dressed up as Ariel and everyone loved my outfit, especially the kids! It’s vibrant green, the scales look very textured— this is not just a “print” fabric. It’s stretchy and comfortable, large would have been to big because there is room to breathe in the size. It isn’t see through, but I would recommend making sure your undergarments are smooth. The material is good quality, it’s not too thin but isn’t on the absolute thick side either. I loved it SO MUCH and want to get more colors so I can wear for yoga/Pilates.

I ordered the XL and they're a little loose. That said, they are very cute, flattering and super comfortable like pajama bottoms. And that's the potential challenge. The fabric is thin, so I don't know how long they'll last. In contrast, my favorite black leggings (10+ pairs so far) are the same price on Amazon and still look great after 5+ years of continuous use.

These leggings are perfect for my Halloween costume. I wanted a subtle hint at the little mermaid and these will be perfect with the purple swing top I bought and some pearls. The leggings are comfortable, I bought the largest size they offer. Typically I wear a size 16 or 18 jeans. I wanted to be sure they wouldn't be too thin and they aren't in the slightest bit. I'm about 5'9 and they are the perfect length for me. They do fit a little loose around the ankles and knee but I really prefer it not to be skin tight all over. The waistband is pretty thick which I also like because it doesn't feel like it's cutting into you, it's a little loose in the waist on me because I did buy a bigger size so I wouldn't have to worry about them being translucent but it's not loose enough that it is uncomfortable or that it slips down. I have washed them once and they seem to have washed well. Overall a fun purchase and I'm sure they could be worn for more then just Halloween. The material is a bit strange, not uncomfortable, but it's kind of slick and I'm not sure it's very breathable so probably wouldn't be a very awesome pair of workout leggings. Overall I'm happy with my purchase and I feel it exceeded my expectations in fit, quality, and appearance.

The leggings are so cute and have a subtle shimmer which I love. Although they were perfect length and fit in my legs, the waist band was way tighter than I am used to and unfortunately I wasn’t able to wear them. I typically run medium, 5’2” and 134 - so got a medium. I think a size up would have been too loose/long in the legs, which is a problem I typically run into. All that said, I think this would be fine for most women.

These were great to dress up for Halloween with my daughter. She was the little mermaid so I did a very casual version with these. Fit as expected: stretchy and comfortable. They are not see through. Not sure how durable they are as I’ve only worn them once. My husband said 5 stars cause it made my rear end lookGood 🤪

I actually use this leggings to create my Halloween outfit of the little mermaid and it was wonderful. I received so many good compliments and the leggings were very well made and comfortable. I actually bought size XL but I think I should have bought L.

Seem like they'll work perfectly (for my wife) for her Halloween costume. According to her: "The leggings run big and are loose, like, even if I got the right size they don't seem like they'd be tight like what you'd expect from a yoga pant. I'm 5"7', 145 lbs with athletic legs and Burt and ordered a medium. I wish I would have got the small even though I'm a M/L in most things I order. Usually size 6/8 in yoga pants, if that helps. The pattern and color is perfect for my mermaid costume, so I'm stoked on that. Overall, they'll do. I wish they were tighter and more supportive."
