This floating shelf is a high quality because it is made of real wood! 3/4" thick American wood-Poplar wood. No MDF (medium density fiber) and no particle board. This is handmade in the USA. It has a nice warm walnut brown stain. It has three dowels that align the shelf top with the frame. It takes two screws to install it on the wall. A lot of care and time has gone into every shelf. Each one has been assembled before it is packaged. Mounting hardware included. The design includes: routed the edges, extra sanding, applied a walnut stain and sealed them.
