FHI HEAT Unbrush Wet & Dry Vented Detangling Hair Brush, Lavender/Grey

Definitely recommend this brush. My Daughter has 4c hair and I’ve tried lots of brushes over the years, specifically designed for Afro hair, with no luck. This is the second best I’ve used. Easy to use, decent quality and makes hair brushing Much easier and less painful.

Phenomenal brush for curly hair. I’m dealing with post partum hair loss so I noticed I was losing clumps of hair and it felt particularly weak. But this brush was so gentle in detangling knots without causing breakage that I felt confident brush my hair every day. It’s become my go to for in and out of the shower and the bristles feel really nice on the scalp. If you start at your ends and slowly detangle higher and higher, it doesn’t pull on the scalp or hurt. Before it would take me 40 mins to detangle my hair by hand, this brush does it in 10 mins

My kids have afro hair and they have long suffered with not enjoying it being brushed. we saw adverts for this brush but for a while didn't believe that it would be that good. However I decided to buy one a couple of weeks ago for my daughter. We couldn't believe it whe it went straight through her hair. Every brush always turns at her hair. This just glides through, and when there is a tighter knot it deals with them easily. I have since bought one for my son who hates brushing his hair but keeps using his sister's since we bought it, so rather than then argue over it I got him one. I never thought I would see the day they were arguing over a hair brush. If you have afro or curly hair I would definitely recommend it, it is a life saver. I have straight hair and it works fine in mine but no real added benefit over any other brushes i already use for my hair.

My partner has tried numerous different brushes on my daughter's hair which is very curly and this is definitely the one wet or dry it detangles absolutely brilliantly Without all the crying and screaming

I looked into this brush after seeing it in a YouTube video, and, after reading the reviews I was sold. Yep, all the hype is true! It is amazing! From 3 days unbrushed, knotted hair, to type 2b-4b curls, it tackles it all with ease. Even makes blow drying hair faster because of the vented design. Light weight and easy to clean (I use soap water and a nail brush) I would say it's a bit over priced, but if you don't really care about the colour you can get the same great results at a lower price because some colours cost less than others. Even with the price tag I still purchased another one! If you're thinking about it do it!

My hair been falling out a lot due to being 4 months postpartum. However using this brush, I genuinely can see a massive difference - it barely tugs my hair at all! Have a fraction of amount of hair falling out compared to just any other brush

This is great! Myself and two daughters use this on our range of thick, curly and very long hair. It glides through with conditioner in shower and is our preferred detangler.

Bit flimsy. And sometimes struggles to detangle near roots for tighter, thicker curls but is really good otherwise and doesn’t hurt much as long as you detangle with products with good slip

I have really thick dark hair that likes to go from wavy to curly depending on the weather. But I also suffer from severe depression and it leads to not taking care of my basics needs from not eating to not even brushing my hair for weeks. I usually put it up in a bun to hide how bad it is, even though I know I'm just avoiding the inevitable. I would just get so scared to even try brushing it out because I know it'll be painful and I've had a sensitive scalp since I was young. I barely get my haircut or let the hairstylist brush my hair, i do it myself because of how painful it can be for me. I had my doubts about this product because I thought it was just all hype. But I had an event coming up that I couldn't miss and I was desperate to brush out my matted hair. I lost my old trusty hairbrush when I traveled during the holidays and went ahead to buy three different detangler brushes to try, but this one was the best! The other two were the BESTOOL Detangling Brush & the Ninabella Organic Detangling Hair Brush. The Bestool worked well, but not as much as this brush. And I'm not satisfied with how unsturdy the Ninabella was Its lightweight and on the smaller than i expected since i had the size of a paddle brush in mind; it made me more doubtful of its usefulness more because I have too much hair. But it caused me very little pain (mats will always cause some pain) and made what is usually a multiday process to less than 10 minutes. I was brought to tears of how well it worked. It didn't snag, the bristles were still in place, and it was really easy to remove loose hairs. I also liked that the bristles were long enough to stimulate the scalp when brushing, I could barely feel the bristles of the Bestool, which maybe some other people prefer that. Its also really sturdy unlike the Ninabella which would just couldnt make it through the big knots. This brush can be used in the shower too without worry of water getting stuck inside like my old brushes with the cushions uner the bristles. Ive been using this brush in the shower, when its only semi dry, and whenever i just need to touch uo my hair when its dry. I'm not sure how it works. It doesn't look like anything special either, but works so well everytime! I'm grateful that it's brought me some relief in regards to no longer fearing to brush my hair when I just can't find the will to fight my mental illness and get out of the deep pit. There's no more crying, no sore arms, no throbbing scalp, and no self-hating. If you had the same struggle with your hair, you should give this a try!

This brush is great for detangling, plus exfoliating the scalp (no nasty, snagging ball tips, either), and the bristle plastic it superior. I like these bristles much better than the cheap types who use that icky-feeling, weak polyethylene (ziplock bag plastic). This feels more like a strong, springier plastic nylon type, similar to how TR90 feels, and I love TR90 nylon. I DON'T like polyethylene, and yes, I instantly know the difference. Super brush and Unbrush are excellent for these well-performing bristles. I bought a similar cheaper pair that stole the vent look, and nope, that junk was polyethylene. I gave them away. I have repeat-purchased these Super brushes and Unbrushes many times, at least a dozen. For those manufacturers wanting to compete who are using cheap plastics--reconsider your approach to business, as there is everything to be said for a return customer, and you are losing returning customers. I am a return customer on this product for good reason, trust has been established because the product and seller earned my trust and are trustworthy as far as their word and their higher quality bristles in this brush. I have to say, though, as far as the handle, I would dearly LOVE to have the handle in this exact design and curve with a window back and nice thin handle like this, show up in bamboo. I want a bamboo handle option. I want it so much so, that I have bought bamboo brushes and removed their bristles, and replaced them with these Super Brush and Unbrush bristles. There are two other brands with good bristle in this style (one name starts with an "S", and the other is a British brand with their flag on the package) I've found that also use this same exact tough bristle plastic, and I've bought a dozen of them over time. I have bought at least 15-20 brands to research who uses this favorite bristle material of mine, and those that use polyethylene or cheaper, they are in the trash with no repeat buys from me. This one, though, I highly recommend.

This was recommended to me by a friend as I told her I was not looking forward to take out my cornrows as I hair (4c) was guaranteed to be tangled. I got the brush and it worked so well I have recommended it to others already. I also will be buying and hoarding some so i always have one! No need to change the design it works on wet, damp or dry hair. Perfect for me.

This is literally the best deranging brush on the market, and believe me we have tried them all! Both my daughters have thick, curly/wavy hair that tangles sooo easily, and we've never found a brush that could get through it before the Unbrush. It's light and well made. We recently purchased a second one because we loved it so much! 10/10
