Hi everyone! I just wanted to share my experience with Lure Minerals' Loose Powder Mineral Makeup Foundation. I'm not exactly what you'd call a "big" makeup person, so finding the right makeup can be challenging. This product, though, surprised me in the best way. First off, finding the right color was a breeze. Usually, I'd spend ages trying to match my skin tone, but Lure Minerals made it super easy. Plus, the container is much more generous than other brands like bareMinerals. It's already lasting much longer, and I still have a lot left! The finish of this makeup is soft and natural-looking. I've had so many compliments about how fresh and natural it looks on my face. I don't feel like I'm wearing a mask; it's so lightweight and perfect for everyday use. I have oily skin, and I've struggled with makeup that doesn't make me look greasy by the end of the day. But this foundation works wonders for my skin type. It stays in place, and the color doesn't fade away.The best part? It hasn't caused any breakouts! As a busy mom in my 30s, the last thing I need is to worry about skin issues. With this foundation, my skin actually feels better. In short, I'm thrilled with Lure Minerals' Loose Powder. It's like they made it just for me - someone who needs simple and effective makeup without any fuss. Color is very close to the original. The formula is not as fine as bare minerals, and I don't feel the coverage is quite as good, but completely acceptable given the price difference.

Makes makeup smooth!

I've used Bare Minerals Prime Time for years, and when I could no longer find it available for purchase, ordered this product. It was clearly a knockoff, meant to appear like Bare Minerals, but if it was as good of a product I would have been a very willing future customer. Unfortunately the product is far inferior. It has a similar texture but is very grainy and can feel like I'm rubbing grains of sand into my face. It's so thick it can't come out of the pump hole provided. I have to scoop it out with a Q-tip, and it comes out in clumps. The label seems printed on a home printer and bleeds. Fortunately I've found Bare Minerals Prime Time again and am back to using that.

I noticed the first item is mica and then the second is titanium dioxide which means there is a lot of it in there. That is a carcinogen and I did not expect to see these items as it claimed to be more natural and not to have these when I purchased. Cannot use sadly but the return was easy. Bummer !

I have used bare minerals for many years. I was looking for a similar product but not so expensive.I ended up loving this.It is light weight and the coverage is amazing. I have acne and extremely sensitive skin that will react to most anything, but this did not irritate at all and covered my acne.I was very happy with the result!

I really like this foundation. Normally I wear Bare Minerals in Fairly Medium, so I purchased this in Fairly Medium - matte. The colors are extremely similar. The BM seems to have a slightly more pink undertone but it’s barely noticeable when you compare the two side by side. In terms of texture, this foundation looks more gritty than BM before you apply but they both go on smoothly and look the same on my face. It also appears that you get more product with this than with BM. I will be purchasing this product from now on since it seems nearly identical but less expensive and a better value.
