Evolis Primacy 2 Dual-Sided ID Card Printer & Supplies Bundle Badge Machine (PM2-0025-A).

I bought the Evolis Primacy as a replacement for our company's old Evolis Primacy that was literally breaking down. We've had the old printer for over 5 years. We use it pretty much on a daily basis for employee name badges. We wanted to stick with the same printer because of the programs that we use. The machine works perfectly, its quick and easy to use. I did not have to set anything up since we already had the program on the computer, so it was just plug and use. This was (i think) the best bundle that I could find on amazon. Came with cards, ribbon and a webcam. I', greatly satisfied with this purchase. It saved me a few hundred $ buying it here.

I purchased 2 Evolis card printers and one stopped working after 3 months and the other one lasted 4 months and the cards kept on getting jammed. We were working with evolis and their repair company to get it fixed under warranty. They ran us around till the printer warranty ran out and tried to deny the printer. After we showed how detailed we were with keeping record of all conversations including phone recordings, Evolis asked us to ship the product to their Repaire representative and then they stole the printer saying it got damaged in transaction.Entire Evolis conpany have no morals.

Printer works well. We have two others on a network set up for black and white printing membership cards. We tried to use one to print in color but found it would not automatically change to color printing when a color cartridge was inserted. Seems to be an issue being on a network as it wanted to have its own driver software make a change. So I got this one attached to one computer for color. The color in the photo seems true, but font colors are off a bit. Could be the software we use. But that's a minor issue. I gave it 5 stars as the printer works well and any issues are probably our software issues. Printer came with its on badge making software, but we didn't use it.

This is our first purchase of this printer. We print a high volume of cards. This printer prints great and had super easy setup. The software installed easy up until I tried to find my printer on the network. GREAT HARDWARE - GREAT PRINTS - FAST PRINTING - VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE HARDWARE AND EASE OF USE.** EVOLIS Networking software still hasn't worked. I contact support from EVOLIS and was very disappointed. I downloaded their software off the internet and my printer still could not be found on my simple network. I gave the printer a static IP and ran the software again and still, the software could not locate my printer.

I purchased the card printer for students in my school district to use on the buses. I have printed nearly 2,500 unique cards using this printer with no problem at all. There is a lot of set up prior to printing and some learning curve to overcome in order to learn the publishing software but once those are settled, the printer works great. While I would certainly buy this printer again, I have since learned that there is no way to print full color on both sides. Using this specific printer there is an option to print using one color but none for full color on both sides of the card. This could be user error but if there is a solution, it's not apparent at this time. All in all, great card printer!

Bought this printer to make company badges for employees. Setup was very easy, card software was a trial but expected and did work for 25 employee badges, design was easy and storage a plus. Printer functions as it should and make very nice badges and bar codes. Thank you for a wonderful experience using our first badge printer.

The Evolis Primacy Dual side card printer was very easy to set up and install. Our office had an Evolis Badgy previously and it the set up was very much the same. We ran into some issues with the software in that we purchased the version where we can input from a database and there was a database option but there was no import wizard and all the troubleshooting she tried failed. We ended up having to enter all 300+ names by hand due to the time crunch. Which could have been a user error. The other issue would be that the print setting doesn't always stay. During a batch, the print settings would change the back would print the wrong way or not at all. Which cause us to have to reprint a number of badges. Again this could have been a user error but it happened a number of times. Other then those two things it worked as expected and was what we needed.
