I love all the different colors it can do

Ordering LED or fiber optic costume pieces online can be risky, but I was so impressed with the quality of this piece when I received it. It comes packaged in a sleek looking box and it's obvious the company put some care into its presentation. The material is sturdy but not stiff, it moves like fabric despite having so much fiber optic material sewn into it. The lights are controlled by clicking a button on a small box on the shoulder of the hood, which also contains the charging port and batteries. The same button allows you to cycle through colors and modes easily, choosing from 7 color options (either solid or blinking) or modes which cycle through all of the color options. Once switched on, the entire outer surface of the hood/ cowl lights up, and the appearance is just as impressive as the product photos if you're in a dark room. This is a very unique costume piece, and you will stand out from the crowd! I've made costumes using EL wire before, and compared to EL wire this fiber optic fabric is much lighter weight, more comfortable and higher impact. The battery lasts for hours on a single charge, but it can't be replaced since it's integrated into the garment - this is the only downside. The styling of the piece itself is impressive too - it's got a modern cyberpunk sort of feel to it, and the buckles and zippers are functional and not just aesthetic, allowing you to style it in a few different ways. Glad I got this in time for Halloween, it's certain to get lots of attention when I wear it out!

For $70 I expected atleast a real nice material or more options than your basic $10 led but all you get is a hot unbreething material and a few solid color and shifting options, maybe 6 total. Definitely not worth it

I am giving the item 4 stars based off the quality and functionality of the costume piece. The woven fiber optics are clean and detailed. They give off a good light in darker surroundings but can't be seen clearly in daylight. The hood is well constructed and offers a few different wearable options. The product should last a long time with proper care and maintenance. Definitely a quality costume accessory. That being said, it is expensive for what you are getting. I appreciate getting a chance to try this piece out through vine, but I would not personally purchase it at the approx. $100 price point.

I cannot remember what this hood reminds me of z(some cartoon character from my youth) but I know I LOVE it! I plan to wear it while handing out candy this year on Halloween, but it's also fun for funs sake, I think I might wear it to Glow Bowling some night! So many colors and patterns very fun!
