cannot open from the inside, child could get locked inside
These can only open from the outside, looking to press a lawsuit against manufacturer after a sibling locked another child inside a compartment with keys as a joke. If you are a lawyer, contact me. I have a legal case to settle against the engineer, manufacturers, and distributors.On a side note, they stay locked very well.

Las compré para reemplazar unas cerraduras iguales pero sin llave y se adaptaron perfectamente, están hechas de muy buen material y son muy fáciles de instalar.

Latches are Awesome Quality. No Keys
The latches seem of comparable quality to Southco. However they came locked with no key. Luckily a CH741 key works on them. 5 stars if they would have included the keys

Well made
Arrived quickly and I will use it to lock my dyi truck tool box. I will get 4 more when I start working on a tonneau cover (bed liner coated plywood) to secure it to my truck’s bed.
