Works great
This is the best power tool I have ever purchased. Extremely well made. Simple to use and is incredibly powerful. I have a lot of bushes and trees on my property. This made trimming them simple and almost fun! Will easily cut thru a 1/2" branch. The battery lasts a really long time. Would highly recommend this.

A Real Worx Horse
These pruners are another quality Worx product. If you own Worx 20V batteries, you can order the tool only, but I recommend buying the tool with battery. The cost of a battery alone is more than worth the difference in price between the tool only and tool with battery. While this pruner and the Black & Decker pruner both have a one inch cutting capacity, I chose this pruner because it weighs about two pounds less than the Black & Decker with the battery attached. However, one advantage of the Black & Decker pruner versus this one is that the B&D pruner has replacement blades which are unavailable for the Worx pruner. This pruner is lightweight and easy to use. Attach the battery, hold the Safety Lock Trigger and the green LED will light up, depress the On/Off trigger and the blades will open to MAX position and you’re ready to go. While the official capacity of this pruner is one inch which it cuts through with ease, it will cut branches about one and one half inches with multiple cuts. When cutting branches over one inch the pruner will beep once and the blades will open up and the pruner will stop working. Depress the On/Off trigger and the pruner will start working again and you’re ready to continue. The blades have two settings. If you are cutting smaller branches, depress the On/Off trigger and hold until you hear one beep and the blades will open to a smaller cutting size. This pruner has several safety and battery saving features. When the blades are in the open position, even if release both triggers, the pruner will stay active for about one minute. After one minute of inactivity, the pruners will shut off. Depress the Safety Lock Trigger and On/Off trigger and the pruner will beep once and ready for use. When you are done using the pruner, depress and hold the On/Off trigger until you hear two beeps and the blades will close and the pruner will turn off. While the owner’s manual doesn’t mention it, there is a small ball bearing on one side of the blades that I noted had a small amount of residual oil when I first used the pruner. I would recommend occasionally pressing down the ball bearing and adding one or two drops of oil, especially if you do a lot of pruning. I previously ordered an off-name brand pruner for about half the price of the Worx pruner, but it stopped working after just two uses. I own other Worx products which have given me years of reliable use. I expect the same from the Worx pruner and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable electric pruner and a real Worx horse.

Can't say enough good about them
I previously purchased tools from Worx, one of them, an edger that was lost in the sagebrush for an entire winter, and when I found it it was immediately usable. These shears were somewhat more expensive than others, but because of my past experiences with Worx quality, I decided to purchase them anyway. Wise decision. Excellent quality, powerful, light, great charger, and long-lasting battery. Initial purchase was for my wife, who loves to garden, but the arthritis in her hands makes it difficult for her to use manual shears. She is amazed and impressed with these and looks forward to using them this season. I tried them on an apple tree in our home orchard and was impressed with their power, ease of use, long-time battery life, and cutting ability. Exceptionally sharp, All in all, I can't find one thing wrong with them and can't say enough good about them.

Great tool.bseems to run forever on One battery
You can cut a lot of branches with this on one battery! I used to cut the smaller branches off of fallen trees on my farm and it works way better than mini pruning chainsaws for the smaller branches

Worth the money, cuts very well !
For the Money it's a good buy ! The first issue I have with it is the safety button needs to be in another place because for me when going to pull trigger my other fingers come off the safety button and have to really think when trying to do more than one piece to cut. If they just moved it around on the back side then it would work out much better I feel. The instructions are very non-insistent, as it shows more pictures than actual reading & then the reading is so vague they aren't very good at all ? Other than that it's a very nice cutting tool and the only reason for 4 stars.

Tops in Quality- Awesome Gift Idea
I've had this Worx 20v pruner for over a year. I bought my sister one also, so actually have 2. I think it's the best thing since sliced bread. My sister uses hers in the yard's bushes and I use mine on our cattle farm . It does a fantastic job helping me control limbs on our vast amount of electric fencing. The battery 's power stays up and charged for many, many, many cuts and even weeks just sitting is no problem for it. I've yet to have it shut down on me. The blades are made of a hard material and are still sharp . I will be getting a replacement blade even though it still cuts great because I sliced thru a piece of HT fence wire with it and want to have a spare when it happens again. It's lightweight and just the perfect size for one hand operation. It cycles on and off and so saves battery that way. Just squeeze the handle , a second or 2 later it beeps , telling you it's ready to cut that limb. Then a few seconds of non use , just squeeze the handle again and the Worx is ready to save your hand from the pain of manually hand pruning. I truly love this pruner.

Très léger, il convient également aux personnes ayant de petites mains. Très puissant, il coupe des branches de près de 1/2 pouce.

This has a good 'feel to it' for cutting ability and ease of use. Your hand will not get tired holding a heavy unit and has the power to easily cut 1 inch (25 mm). Have not tested as to battery duration but seems to be holding up well. This is the same battery that fits the minichain saw for the same company. I wish I had this a long time ago. Con: May be easy to use, but, be extra careful ! This tool is extra dangerous. The safety trigger which is to prevent accidental activation is placed in location that leaves the device always ready to engage. Pay extra attention, else, your cutting something you don't want to.
