I smoke and grill a lot. I mean - a lot. I am always trimming, cutting, and prepping everything from ribs to chicken to brisket to veggies. I needed a solid cutting board. I had a cheap plastic board, but it was too small and kept sliding on my countertop. The last thing you want when you have a meat cleaver in your hand is a cutting board that slides! This acacia board is built like a small tank. It is rock solid, doesn't slip or move at all and it looks gorgeous. Besides the aforementioned, the two things I really love would be the juice slot and it doubles as a serving board. Grilled steaks, chops, spare ribs, and fresh veggies look absolutely amazing on this board. For the price, you can't beat it. I highly recommend it.

This is a beautiful cutting board / serving board. We have used it to create butter boards when entertaining. The wood is thick and heavy and rich in color. One feature I do not love is the branding etched into the top. Would be 5 stars if unbranded.

Fabulous cutting board. I love it! Made from 100% Acacia wood from Vietnam. It is not too small and not too big (15.75” x 11.8”) and is very thick at 1.6”. The label states it is bacteria resistant and to wash with warm soapy water. It is not dishwasher safe…I never put my wooden cutting boards in the dishwasher anyway. Before first use I rubbed it down with olive oil. The label stated to use mineral oil. I love the look of it. It is thick and feels very expensive.

Okay first of all this thing is stunning. I opened it and gasped. This is the thing Instagram influencers dream of. Second of all, it’s heavy. Not only is it heavy duty, it’s straight up heavy. I have no doubt it’s made of quality materials. I’m going to use it as a weapon if anyone ever breaks into my house. Third, I found that it’s high quality and easy to clean. I don’t know what else you can really ask for in a cutting board. So to recap you really get three things in one: A cute picture backdrop, a potential weapon ;p, and of course, a cutting board. Overall, it’s a great buy!

The only reason why I rated this cutting board 4 stars instead of 5 stars is that it is SO heavy. I wasn’t expecting this cutting board to be so thick. Perhaps I’m just not used to this kind of cutting board! Because of that, it’s also a little annoying to clean just because of the weight, but I suppose it’s really not that big of a problem.Other than the fact that it is kinda bulky and heavy, it is absolutely beautiful and great to work with. I love the grooves in it that collect all the juices when you’re cutting stuff so it doesn’t make a mess on the counter. It really is great!!
