Found a recipe to make one's own ELMNT powder, using this and other powders. Was an expensive purchase with all the others too. But months later, so much left still....it's been a great purchase.

This is a product that is golden if you wake up with a leg cramp in the middle of the night. If you get them occasionally then you know how painful they can be. I take a slightly rounded teaspoon in a glass of water and pound it down. Can't say that it's tasty with water. It's slightly chalky but the flavor itself is close to neutral. I mix it into my protein smoothie and if I drink that then I usually don't get cramps. When I forget, that's when the cramps show up at night. Fun, fun, fun (not really). Anyway, it takes care of the cramp very quickly for me as I use it noted above. Your mileage may vary. Also noted that this does not bother my GI track in the least bit. Recommended.

I researched which type of magnesium was best absorbed and malate was one of them. I also learned magnesium malate can improve energy. So far I have felt no fatigue and am a very active 61yo female. One thing you should be aware of with it that hasn’t happened with my magnesium citrate is that about an hour after taking you should be near a restroom, it has kept me regular. TMI but timing is important with this one! I like the powder form, it’s easy to mix in my morning lemon water cocktail and has basically no taste.
