Great buy for the money.
Bought two of them. One for my daughter to use for light gaming, one for us as a portable business laptop to display 3D renderings for clients. Exterior shell is sturdy enough to survive in a teenagers chaotic bedroom as well as transport to a client's home. TouchPad, screen all first rate- as ASUS normally does. First thing I did for both was upgrade the RAM to 32 GB. Asus makes swapping out RAM easy. The shell is designed to be removed. So for around $650 each, We were able to get a Ryzen six core, 32 GB 17 in truly portable laptop made with top quality materials. Works well for gaming and works well for CAD. That's a bargain.

Amazing gaming PC
I love this laptop. The battery lasts for hours even while playing and streaming my games. I mainly play League of Legends and I also use this laptop for work so a long battery life is a must. The display is crystal clear, the keyboard has light up customizable options, and the speakers are killer. Best bang for your buck right here for a start up ready to game laptop.

Nice laptop.
Really nice laptop, quick boot up, vivid colors. Only downside is the realtek wifi card. It started to drop my signal randomly. I replaced it with an Intel card and works wonderfully. Overall a great laptop.

One Year Later
I purchased the laptop over one year ago. Soon as I received it I upgraded the RAM to the maximum and added several external drives. Upgraded with the latest Samsung hardware only. I'm not a gamer but require a hefty system at a bang for the buck price. This laptop has performed outstandingly without any issues. My experience with computer systems began with mainframes in the early 70's, I know my stuff. I highly recommend this laptop.

Great Computer
I use mine mostly for Sims with mods, but I also use it for homework as I’m in college. Has been great so far and I’ve had it for about a year.

Great!
My 14 yr old son loves this laptop. The app only problem is the space. But you can buy external storage and works just fine.

Excellent laptop
This is a great laptop for the price! It has a beautiful wide screen and plays videos & games seamlessly. Very good processor & graphics card. And it holds a charge for at least 7 hours!

Full of glitches & bugs
Works great when it works but it has Serious issues, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Cooling fans do not work at all - ZERO. App that controls fans is useless, does nothing. Remove app, still no fan. Tech support does not speak understandable English. Put on hold each time I said "I can not understand what you are saying". 3 holds = they hang up. 3rd tech rep (barely understood his words) said send it to them. Now with all my sensitive info on my device, I would rather take a lose on a poor product than risk getting my $ accounts hacked by someone in a foreign country. Call their tech support yourself before you buy it, you'll see. WAIT, THERE'S MORE ISSUES. Bandwidth gets robbed (slow internet) by installed apps. Removed the culprits & bandwidth is OK for 2 weeks. Resetting limit to unlimited ever 2 weeks helps, for 2 weeks (I have it set to the max monthly). Windows 11 >forced< updates robs bandwidth. Fortunately it allows removal of some updates which brings my MPS back up to 300. Bandwidth is an ongoing battle with this device. THERE'S MORE, laptop will shut down completely every 1 - 2 weeks. Sometimes it requires a hard restart. Sometimes it says there's a error & needs to shut down. My 6 months old Acer Nitro (same specs as my Asus) has none of these issues. To Asus: no need to reply "sorry your having problems". I'm writing off this several hundreds of dollars product as a lose. 2nd Asus product I purchased & it will be the last.
