GURPS High-Tech

Good book, covers everything for a game setting from 1900s through modern day. Interesting flavor test, useful variety of equipment from basic consumer products to weapons and armor. Only criticism I'd say is the weapon descriptions don't sync up with the weapon tables. What I mean is, if I see a weapon table, the description of said weapons should follow behind but sometimes they seem a bit spread out later in the book and it becomes hard to find a particular weapons description.

I've come to really appricate the GURPS system. The High-Tech rules is a softcover book with loads of information.GURPS is known for the level of complexity and desire to be as accurate as possible. Many of their systems use a simplified version and this book has loads of information for tech 5 (1730 starting) through tech 8 up to (2050 where tech 9 starts). They have a lot more information you can use for Tech 9 2050+. If you want way out there stuff their Ultra-Tech may be what your looking for.The level of detail on almost all current guns (through 2007 pulish date with this being v2.0 Feb of 2017) is both incredible a bit daunting at first.I've very gald to add it to my library.

Like I've said before, 3rd edition offered a lot more in their books, but if you want some stats for everything usable from the Napoleonic era to the Modern era, look no further. Everything from guns and gizmos, this book still serves as an example to GURPS's ability to be adapted to anything you need.

The print of demands is pretty good, even for a black and version, the dot pitch/resolution and paper quality are good. Bonus Perk: the book fits nicely next to GURPS hardcovers.

Highly detailed ridiculously well researched catalogue of equipment and technology. This book might be useful even if you don't play gurps. PoD is great quality, no complaints!
