This book came in brand new condition, even had that "new book" smell! If you're looking for growing information or any "how to" advice for plants, this is NOT the book for you. HOWEVER, if you're looking for a "coffee table " type book with beautiful drawings of houseplants this book IS for you. The art is gorgeous and every drawing is "frame worthy". I gave it 4 stars because I was expecting more information about houseplants.

Bought this for my best friend because she loves plants and always wants to add to her collection. This was the perfect gift because she can look up what plant she may want next. The book was so beautiful that I wished I bought one for myself. The illustrations and simple descriptions are so clean and aesthetic. She loved it!!

Illustrated beautifully (all watercolor style, not photographs), with some valuable information... it's not really an extensive guide, though. I'd call this a decorative book that you might be able to identify some unknown plants with, but if you're looking for a care guide, this won't be your book. I'd recommend it, nonetheless!
