Speidel-FE725 Plastic Fermenter - 120L (31.7 gal)

This is an excellent fermenter for the winemaking hobbyist. I just bought a second one and am brewing a big load of peach wine. The gas-tight seal works great, even after a couple years of use. It is easy to mix fruit and chemicals in, press down the cap and finally, to clean. I do recommend sitting it on a platform prior to filling as the thing weighs a couple hundred pounds when full. I use a hydraulic lift platform to raise it up high enough to service and syphon the wine. I got my wheeled hydraulic lift at Northern Tool

Really nice fermentor only problem with it is the lid seals niceley but is a pain whith the strap clamp would be much better if lid was trreaded on.

Great product, probably need to tape the spigot to the tank or bag as it’s a common recurrence based on other customer. Too much hassle tu return a large tank so I will have to order a new spigot.

I started with two and now have five. I might still need one more...

Arrived fine but opened to find a cracked airlock lid. Not sure if this will affect functionality of the airlock, but it would have been nice if this was quality checked before being sent out to me

Great for doing large batches and easy to clean. Drilled a hole in the front and installed temperature guage. Best price I could find was on amazon. Shipping was really fast.

Light weight. Easy to clean. Look at the lid wrong and the "sealing gasket" if that's what it's called falls out. Uses a tensioning strap to close.It falls off as soon as you look at it. A threaded top like their other models would be a much better option.
