50pcs led for Jeep Spare Tire Brake Light Third Brake Light fits 2007-2020 Jeep Wrangler JK JL (Jeep 2007-2022)

This is for 5x5 and 5x5.5 lug patterns. It doesn't fit 5x4.5, which is for the TJ. However, if you're handy at all, you can drill holes for it. I made a template from the spare tire bolts. Used a step drill and was able to get it on just fine. The price is cheap but works great. If you want easy plug and play, this isn't for you. Great for a 3rd brake light. Took about a hour total to get it done but had all the parts needed to do this. I highly suggest getting the heat shrink butt connectors as they will make a waterproof seal.

Here's the thing, if you've ever done any automotive electrical work this will go in no problem. However, if you're not familiar with splicing and crimping wires, applying shrink tubing, and weatherproofing you might want to have your local auto guy install this for you. For me, it was a quick 20m install - and that was with me showing my 9yr old grandson how to do all that. Bright, seems pretty rugged and looks great in daylight or dark. Overall, I'm very pleased with the purchase so far.

Fairly easy to install. You do have to remove the spare tire. 35’s equal heavy tires and a sore back. The lights do light up red not orange or pink. The plastic caps over the LEDs looked pink or orangy looking. I was concerned that I would have red brake lights with orange brake ring lights.

For those that make upgrades to their Jeep, this is by far one of the most affordable modifications. The LED lights are bright and made to last. However, I did have a couple of issues with the installation. It is definitely simple, however the brake light wiring was transposed which cause some frustrations. Also, the wiring itself could be a bit longer as I had to dismantle one of the LEDs because it would have had too much tension on the wire. Even with the annoyance concerning the install and wire length, the light itself really is great and gives the Jeep some more character.

One hint... place a bit of clear adhesive on each light and set into the plastic tray. This will keep them well intact. They look good and are bright. Since half of the bulbs are behind the wheel spokes, the whole rear lights up at night. Looks good. Very noticable in the bright sun as well. Brighter than the ones selling for $60.00+.

I received this and was super excited to install. I took the tire off and had the 3rd brake light case opened. I opened the box that this came in and instantly knew I wasn't going to be able to put it on. It looks really well made, but the extra wire supplied was only about 4 inches long. It wasn't even long enough to reach to the 3rd brake light casing. Unfortunately I have to return for a different product. I just don't have the expertise to splice and tape and solder. I'm sure it would be a fine product for someone that could make due.

I do not have extensive mechanical and electrician skills, but this was an easy install. It took me a little over an hour, working at a very leisurely pace. I am already getting compliments at red lights. Everybody loves the look.

Highly disappointed at the quality. There are exposed wires on the back and the red light lenses are cheaply made. The connection wire is about 8 inches long. None of the holes line up for the standard 5x5 bolt pattern. If I’m don’t just throw this piece of crap away I’ll have to drill new hold to make it for. DO NOT BUY!!!!!!
