After trying these knives out for a few months, I can say that they are a safe way for your kiddos to help out in the kitchen! I have an eight and three year old who love helping mommy cut up fruits and veggies. We used to let them use a butter knife (with our supervision) but then I saw these online and figured why not give it a try. So happy that I did because they work great and feel safer than a butter knife. I’ve recommended to my sister and other Mom friends who have eager little helping hands in the kitchen. * of course like any other kitchen gadget, parental supervision is recommended *

Perfect for teaching kids how to handle real knives! Made of hard nylon, this 3-pack of knives are fully serrated, so they will cut food. However, because they are nylon they won't cause an injury and make these perfect for learning correct knife skills. We firmly believe that children who handle their food are more likely to be healthier eaters, and kids love to take part in cooking. I'd love to have a set of 6 or 8 of these in the smallest size for mealtimes.

Great set of little knives for beginner kids in the kitchen! They are sharp enough to cut items (and fingers still, if not careful) but they arent going to cut a kids finger off, which is good enough for me! Will be a great gift for my son for Christmas. He will be so excited, hes been begging to cut like a grown up.

Bought so grandchild could help in the kitchen when prepping for meals. Very safe.

My son enjoys helping cut his fruit and vegetables. Safe and effectively slices though with little effort.

Cuts most items easily and has good grips for kids. Sure some kids can handle actual knifes and not get cut but not every kid can. They clean easy enough with soap and water, and if you forget to dry them right away you don’t have to worry about them rusting.

My 2 year old wants to “help” with everything. We got him a kitchen stander/ helper for his birthday which made it easier for him to participate in counter height tasks- BUT he also was constantly trying to use our knives/ getting mad when he wasn’t allowed. I purchased these knives and the day they came he was up using them. They are sharp enough to cut food but not little fingers. With pressure there is definitely discomfort but no immediate injury. My son loves that he is able to use “his” knives now.
