The Art of Steampunk, Revised Second Edition: Extraordinary Devices and Ingenious Contraptions from the Leading Artists of the Steampunk Movement (Fox Chapel Publishing)

This is a fantastic art book, full of great photos and a few paragraphs about the work and artists.The reason I gave it a four is because this is very small for an art book. Most art books I'm use to getting are like large text books or coffee table books. With the size of the book and how much writting is in it, it doesnt leave a whole lot of space for the pictures, so its kind of difficult to enjoy.However if you like art and steampunk, without a doubt you will enjoy this book. I just hope you have good eye site.

I enjoy this book. I guess I was hoping for more inspiration on steampunk builds and although I didn't find what I was looking for I do enjoy flipping through the book.

So - So. Save your money. Buy "1000 STEAMPUNK CREATIONS" and then decide if you still WANT or NEED it.

Bought as a present for my husband. He found the book very interesting and inspiring. Excellent detail and images of many different Steampunk creations.

It's a good book if your are interested in learning more about the pioneers of the Steampunk movement. This book is about the historical exhibition of Steampunk that took place Between 13 October 2009 and 21 February 2010 at the Museum of the history of science in Oxford UK, It was the world’s first museum exhibition of Steampunk art. The book showcase the work of 18 Steampunk artists from around the globe that were featured during this exhibition. Overall an excellent book for those wanting to learn more about this exhibition and the steampunk movement.
