Multipet Tortoise Hay - 24oz

Our sulcata tortoise is still a bit young to be eating this but it definitely loves it as a bedding. We added this to the inside of the hideout that we have for it and it absolutely loves it. The quality is great is and it looks as it should. Once our tortoise is interested this will definitely be a staple in its food source as it will provide an additional nutritional value to the overall diet.

Our desert tortoises like it. It does the trick and is cost effective.

Idk how to feel about this hay when it comes to one of those enclosures that slides out the bottom to clean up. It’s not convenient and you have to shop vac it or sweep it up before removing the bottom tray of enclosure. But my turtle was ok with it. I have an African cicada she’s a brat and picky but she didn’t mind it. You just need a bunch for them to burrow and it’s messy. But give it a try your tortoise my love it ! I gave it a try because they like to burrow and she likes it. It’s just not convenient for my self to clean up. But anything for my brat

The product is as described. It is simply dried Timothy hay. If you have a picky eater, this may not be a product for your tortoise. Our two Horsefield tortoises will not eat it, even if we soak it to soften it up. That being said, our Herman Tortoise will eat it wet or dry. The bag is comes in is strong enough to keep the hay from poking through and is easily sealed once the fed and been removed.

My 21yo sulcata loves this brand. I believe this is may be due to the hay being semi-chopped?? Easier to chomp?

I’m rating this from my tortoises point of view. He dove right into it the minute I put it in. Was very fresh and clean. No mystery pieces. I think he is very pleased. Will definitely buy again

Guess my sulcata prefers fresh grass.
