Quality at a great price point
Very nice knife, I’d say it feels a little blade end heavy compared to my old buck, but I could buy 4 of these for the price of that one. Stays sharp within reasonable use, looks great. I looked over all the Ned knives before choosing this one. A lighter blade than some, but still a ridged drop point, slightly thicker handle than the swan with the contours for grip. Also, the open tab functions well as a finger guard once open and gives a bit more control with fine work.

Nice knife
Bought this for $35 in June, 2023. This knife turned out to be the first addition to what has become a collection of “inexpensive” knives. After adding several more to my collection and reviewing them here on Amazon, I realized I had never reviewed this NedFoss knife. I have always carried a little “Old Timer” type pocket knife for cutting/opening things. But, I decided I wanted something larger while walking my dog at night. (You never know.) Anyway, I started watching various people's reviews of Every Day Carry (EDC) knives on YouTube to learn the jargon, understand the different designs and how knives work, how to repair them, and understand what to look for in a good knife. This particular knife struck my fancy, so I bought it. It was so much larger than my little “Old Timer”. I couldn't believe how nice it was. It has an attractive design, and the fit and finish is really good. The blade opens and closes very smoothly. The blade locks up strongly when opened with no wiggle at all. The blade detent is good, and it is properly centered in the handle when closed. It is reasonably sharp. This is a heavy bladed knife, so you have to be firm in your “flipper” action to open it. Maybe include a little wrist action as well. (This knife is NOT spring assisted as some people have indicated.) I can't believe how nice this knife is for the money. Someday I may buy a more expensive knife just to see how it compares to this “inexpensive” one. It may cost three to ten times more, but I can't see how it will be that much better in quality. To me, this knife is a little big and heavy for every day carry, but it looks and feels great. I don't see this as a real work knife... more of a gentleman's knife. I have found several $10-$20 knives that are better suited to be treated as a work knife. This one is too nice for harsh treatment. It is just as good as any of the newer purchases in my collection, and better than some of the more popular name brands. I know “quality control” may miss some issues with a knife, but I have been fortunate thus far. In building my collection, I have only had to return one knife to Amazon due to a quality issue, but its replacement was good. This NedFoss had no issues, and it was a keeper.

Best knife I own. It is my every day carry knife.
Amazing knife! It is razor sharp, extremely well built and opens easily with one hand. It is comfortable in my hand and the blade is made of D2 tool steel that holds an edge better than any other steel. It couldn't be any better. I would not hesitate to but knives made by Nedfoss. Real quality! You won't be disappointed.

As described
I would have given this a 5 star rating if the fold-up was firmer. Other than that, I'm pleased with the quality. Good steel, sharper than most out of the box (although I immediately took a whetstone to it). Overall it has a good weight, look and feel to it. It is almost as good as my Kershaw of the same class and comes very close to being as comfortable in my hand. They discontinued my Kershaw model so I got this as a backup. Glad I did cuz I've tried others and they don't even come close. It feels like a knife and not a cheap toy. Price point was definitely competitive also. If you want a functional, good quality knife and don't want to break the bank, I would recommend it.

Great in Every Way!!!
Weight and dimensions are exactly as advertised. Blade is laser sharp, no play in blade when opened, great fit in hand, very high-quality knife that can last a lifetime!!! For this price, it is an absolute steal and I am going to buy a second one! 10 of 10!!!

Good Steel. Super Sharp. Great service if problems.
Good SUPER sharp, D2 steel blade, and SUPER smooth flipper! (AWESOME for a $35 knife!!) After a few months of my son using it.. the main blade pivot screw became lose and fell out. After complaining to NedFoss.. they send us new screws for the entire knife. Surprisingly good service.. esp from China! Nice job guys! Also.. I'm a big US made Keershaw fan.. and feel in the hand is very important to me., as I tend to avoid cheap Chinese knives. THIS knife though, as well as the NedFoss "The Boss", are both really are exceptional spring assist flippers. SUPER smooth (bearing) flipper.. Great liner-lock lock-up. And yes.. SUPER sharp, from the factory. One of my favorite ECD knives. I now have three different NedFoss flipper models..

Worth it for sure.
Ned Foss gets a bad rep. Yes they have fake Damascus and really cheap chinesium knives. They also have really good knives too. This is one of them. Standard D2 steel. Comfortable handle that fits right in your hand like a glove. You just have to wade through their bad products to find the good ones. This has good action and detent.
