To those who wrote reviews saying that the leash is too thin or their dog snapped it- I'm convinced it's because your dog chewed on the leash first. I don't know what kind of dog you must have because this leash endured a little incident the other day that would have put hundreds of lbs of tension on it. I attached the leash around my waist and had the other end attached to my 90 POUND GREAT DANE. My boyfriend threw the ball too far beyond the leash length and the force of my dog running literally pulled me 6 feet before hitting the ground (and also stopped my dog mid-run, falling down too). The leash was fine. If it can endure a 150lb human and 90lb dog, you're probably going to be just fine.

Lightweight but sturdy, the latch held up to my 70+lb puppy pulling and lunging trying to play with our friend. Love it might get another in Orange.

Great product! Fast delivery, lead as described and I’m very happy with it. We use it for our 67lb coonhound. It’s great for taking her to a lake, It floats well and allows her safe freedom in the water. I also use it for obedience recall. If this one ever wears out I will definitely buy another. I use the orange so it is easy to see on both land and water. I recommend spray lubricant on the clasp so it doesn’t stick with use in sand and water.

The media could not be loaded.  I got this leash so that I could have it drag behind my dog while she runs at the unfenced dog park next door. She's 6 months and learning recall, but not solid yet. This way I can step on the leash if she takes off. I got the blue thirty foot leash for $9.97 + $.40 tax (Denver). It is a great leash. A little lighter weight than that last one I had, but seems very sturdy and well made. It has an almost papery feel to it as opposed to a soft cloth, but for a leash it's perfectly fine.When I got the leash, they offered me a $5 gift card if I filled out a review. I would have filled it out anyway, and my rating is not influenced by their rebate, but that makes it an extra good deal.

My Yorkie likes her space and loves to run. I had a black leash like this for her but it disappeared so I looked for another one. I chose the 20 foot pink leash because I thought it would be cute and it is. But it is very light in color and, after one walk, it is all muddy and dirty. I live in New York state, the land of slush, mud, and wet weather.This leash is slim but sturdy, the clasp opens and closes fine, the loop handle is good and,for all intents and purposes, this was a great buy. But I think I will get a black one. If you live somewhere that is warm and dry, the pink may be great but it is really light. I couldn't get the muddy stains off and we have a whole spring and summer of wet weather to endure. The color notwithstanding, I like this leash and will buy a darker color of the same, perhaps a bit shorter this time. The quality appears to be good and the price is right.

Updated completely:I originally brought a 30ft, and it was WAY too long for what I needed (my fault, not theirs!) So I cut it in half and it ended up being too short; just my luck. I managed to use it regardless but decided to buy a second one. The first one had been through a lot in such a short time; getting stuck between wooden steps and pulled out multiple times, holding a 46lb dog who is a strong, hyper puller, and even after I cut it (I burned the end to avoid fraying) it stayed strong and in tact. There is very minimal fraying on one side from getting stuck in the wood, but other than that its going strong.I bought the second one at 20 feet, which is perfect. It handles a rowdy 20lb dog who lunges and jumps around a lot when she's outside. The old one is still used for the big dog.I am 100% satisfied with this purchase; I will be sticking with this brand of leash from now on. :)Pros:DurableLightweightEasy to gripVery fair price!Cons:None :) I previously said it easily frayed, but its very, very minimal considering all its been through (haha.)

My dog is very play motivated and before I would train him in the backyard and throw the ball, but now that we’ve moved into an apartment it’s gotten more difficult. Especially because lately when we go to the dog park there is always people there. Now with what I’ve been referring to as “super leash” I can take him to pretty much any grassy area where we aren’t trespassing and I can do training with him again with the thing that motivates him the most, his ball. I love this leash, I really can’t express how happy I am with this purchase. It doesn’t get caught on things in the grass like other long lines I’ve had. It’s flexible. I’m thrilled with it and I know my boy is too!

Best way to train your dog how far to travel off lead. We used this consistently the first few months on hikes. My dog now stays 20ft ahead or behind and stops each time. She mentally thinks that 20 ft is how far she should be away from us and then stops or comes back to us. It was a great way to train her on hikes and walking with a lead. We also just let it drag behind her for miles and miles and it never snagged or even looks dirty.

This product just arrived. As you can see, the clasp is not silver or smooth. It's rust colored and rough feeling.Have emailed the company. I will update this review as they get back to me.Update: the company very promptly got back to me and is offering a full refund! Excellent customer service.

I've had no issues with my 6mth (~60lb) rottweiler puppy practising recall with it and playing. But when he does run a bit too far when I throw the ball, the line tears through my hand leaving it awfully sore. So it's uncomfortable to hold since the actual leash material is thin but it's not unbearable either since it does do the job. I wouldn't trust it holding up with my dog when he gets bigger in a few months or right now if he were to bolt.
