Secure your Jeep
After I found out how easy it was to defeat the Jeep alarm, (open the hood pull the fuse) I figured an extra layer of security was a good idea. I know that nothing will stop a determined thief but every little bit helps, and for the price, it's a no-brainer. Super easy to install. The only shortcoming so to speak is that the red key is great, but the second black key is a bit too short for the grille that I've got. Still would recommend.

Keeps the thief out and the owner out. It’s a 30% chance that this thing actually works unlocks. I don’t advise it. Just spend the extra money for one that works or get locking latches. Trust me.

Fit my 2022 Jl 4Xe.
Perfect fit! Very easy to install! Works as it should. I feel much better knowing that the hood is secure.

Fits and easy to i stall
Fits exactly on my jeep gladiator 2021 model, the hood much safer with this lock.

It's fine, but could be better
It gets the job done, and installation is easy. The only drawback to this is that the lock function is hard to unlock. I was so scared that I would crack the key at the first moment; I guess you need to practice a few times to get used to it. I would recommend the "bolt one" hood lock if you tend to secure your Jeep easily. My approach is just looking for a temporary and budget option as I plan to trade in.
