Dystopian romance
This is a new author to me, and I love dystopian romance so this was an automatic read for me. Really pleased with this book, have seen it recommended on social media and was not disappointed. Well written, good amount of world building, likeable characters. Thankfully book 2 is out already

sizzling romance meets dystopian
I didn’t think I’d like a book with dystopian theme. But I devoured this book in one setting and too whilst I’d went on a concert. Obviously put it down then but once finished I was back reading it again. Kai is my new book bf he’s so loving, sweet, caring, sexy . I could write a book on his qualities alone.

Outcast
The world is on a fallout from nuclear war. Land is unlivable and families are torn apart from death. Except one place where a group of spring breakers partied while the world burned. Now the island is a safe haven, a chance at survival. There are three main sections, where the towns people live, the East side and the West side run by the Chancellor. Callie wins the lottery, a trip to the island to be with her only living relative. However her boat capesizes and her and three out of ten survivors make it. Callie, Dani, and Katura land on the wrong side, the eastside where the Outcasts including Kai live. Kai and Caliie knew each other in college but after a night of misunderstanding their world implodes and they never speak again. They reconnect on the island but there's always someone hanging over their head. The Chancellor is Callie's ex boyfriend and Kai's ex best friend. He rules the westside with an iron fist. The Westside has more people, resources and fire power but Kai and Callie have each other.Their connection is sweet once they decide to move on from their pasts. They are gentle with each other and you know they'll make it through anything. Kai is strong but not overbearing. He's not afraid to feel even if he doesn't always say it. Callie tends to jump the gun but owns her mistakes. They have a lot of chemistry. This book definitely has The Beach vibes. Not everything and everyone are as they seem.

Couldn't put it down
So many different things going on and I want to soak up all the info. Read it in a day and I knew there would be a cliff hanger but I was hoping it wouldn't be what it was. Gah! Can't wait for the next one.

Second chance apocalyptic Romance
This has been different to what I've read before. It was my first Dystopia story line, and I really enjoyed it.As if living in a post-apocalyptic world wasn't enough, past traumas and events are never far behind to remind you that even in chaos the world didn't stop or forget. Can the island ever truly be a paradise when pain and suffering is the cost?Kai and Callie's story has only just begun. Will they survive or will the Island become their last resting place? Onto the next book to find out...

Worth it
The story line is fascinating, the characters were well wrote, definitely a bit of spice, but the over all the writing was lacking. It felt off. The sentences were very short, and it kind of made it difficult to read for me. It didnt read well, and made for a very stiff book. Overall I am finishing Callie and Kais story, but I'm not sure I'll finish the series.
