My go-to GPIO board for ESP8266
I started out using breadboards for my ESP8266 projects. It was just the way I've always done it.Then I found these GPIO boards. The allow you to slip an jumper into the slot for a connection, or screw it in for a solid connection that stays in place.Sometimes I'll still need to use a breadboard if I need to share come pins with multiple devices, but I use the very small breadboards so my work are doesn't get too cumbersome.I also made some 3D Print boxes for them to slip into. The boxes have openings for the things I need to connect and where it is not "professional", it is solid and functional.

Great breakout board for the esp8266 but......
I ordered two packs of these with three in each pack. They came quickly and are well crafted. They make wiring up one of these ESP8266 project boards fast and simple becausge you don't have to do any soldering. The only reason I gave it 3 stars instead of 5 was because one of the project boards was for the ESP32 ( which is larger than a ESP 8266)

Poor quality assembly
I've been quite happy with previous Hiletgo products, but this is an exception. Biggest complaint is poor quality soldering. Note the cold solder joints in photo, at top center. All three boards had cold joints. Not a big deal to reflow the solder, but quality on a through hole board should be much higher.
