I wanted magnetic black lights for my computer so UV-dyed coolant would fluoresce. These work great!

I got a Corsair 4000D black with the tinted glass panel, I wasn't sure if it would be bright enough to shine through but these light strips work great! Install took seconds with the magnets. I only used two strips, one strip up the front side when looking at the glass and one across the top. They give off more than enough light to see the components through the glass. These light strips did exactly what I was hoping. They come on immediately when powering on system. The lights go off when I put my computer to sleep (with my power supply anyway) and the wires were a good length, I had to get a molex extension cable for the one I have across the top. Otherwise it was plug and play. The light even shines through my front intake fans which looks sooooo good!NOTE: The light looks somewhat blue in pictures but is DEFINITELY WHITE IN PERSON!!!

These would of been 5 star if they had a sata power connector, but 4 strips come in the box and they work great.

I got the blue ones and they are nice. Just the right amount of light. Lead wire is long enough to get to a connector. Nice thing is they are magnetic, so no tape means you can move them around. I highly recommend them if you are putting lights in your case.

I was able to slap these in an older computer. I was a little surprised - but shouldn't be - that the power supply on the newer computer doesn't even have any of these old molex lp4 style connectors. No I'm not talking about the 12V RGB header on some motherboards, just that Molex may have fallen out of favor for SATA. I can cut the connector off and tap into something else 12V I'm sure, like a fan connection - but why not throw in a cheap adapter? either to run off of sata or go back to the 12v fixed fan header on the mobo. I have adapters the other way (Molex -> SATA) but that doesn't help me here.Either way, once you do get them connected, they are monochrome. At this price point I'd much prefer some RGB - maybe even RGBIC - with a remote. and other power options.LOVE that these are magnetic, but that's no new trick for PC modding. They are bright, as a short 12V strip should be. Lots of options and price points out there for these features. I'll round up from the 2.5 stars I was thinking.

The white is nice and vibrant on my lights, and the magnets stick really well. they're semi flexible, and have a coating of rubber over them so they're easy to dust with the rest of my pc. If you need some nice, non RGB pc case lights to illuminate your build, these are a solid choice!
