25pcs M6X1.0 Thread Repair Kit Car Helical Coil Repair Set

I used this to fix some stripped transmission pan bolt holes. The other review mentioning the incorrect diameter installation tool being provided is correct. I ended up having to use a grinder to make the tool smaller so it would come out of the coil after being inserted. Same for the punch, there I just used a smaller punch to break the tab. The bit and tap worked perfectly. No more leaking tranny.

This product saved me money in time I used it for my 96 civic hatch, on three valve cover bolts and it worked better then expected! Amazing product I would defiantly recommend this to anyone !

The drill, tap, inserts and depth guage are great in this kit. The installation tool was a big disappointment. Using the supplied tool resulted in the 1st 4 inserts I installed to spread out and not engage the tapped hole properly.I had to rip those 4 inserts out and re install with a home made tool ( bolt with a tab ground on the end) similar to a Helicoil brand tool. After those 4 were installed the supplied tool was burred all up and useless.

Very useful tool if you work on your own vehicles. Especially useful for stripped out threads in aluminum.

Poor quality tap. Broke the instant I started to use it. Tried to contact the seller but no response.

First time ever tapping and repairing threads. Worked well enough for klr650 valve cover bolts. There is a design flaw. The handle provided is too large in diameter, once the coil is installed you might not be able to pull the handle out. I actually destroyed my handle trying to remove it. Good news is, you can use two small nails to help twist the coil into place. It doesn't take much effort at all.

Everything is included. Worked excellent.
